Ephesians 2 is not preaching faith alone.

His mistakes may be from all the pressure of attempt at appearing perfect. The anxiety level has to be high. The doctrine he claims though redefines sin so I guess that makes it a little easier. I was thinking he was just going by the Wesleyan view but his claim that I’m not part of the church...

    Loss of salvation???

I do love my boss as with everyone else. But I don’t work there because I love them. I work there to provide for my family. Now if my boss asked me to do something for him outside of work then I would do it out of love. I love people not brands and companies.

    Loss of salvation???

I must do what my boss at work asks me to do because I don’t want to get fired. I desire to do what my wife asks me to do because I love her and want to please her. We have rules at work and we have love at home. Do we follow His commandments as to not lose our salvation or do we follow...

    Loss of salvation???

I would just leave out the word “must” and replace it with “we desire to”

    Loss of salvation???

I see you didn’t quite me saying what you accused me of saying. So you’re gonna go with the identity issue option? Jesus called Himself His Son while also descending onto Himself like a bird. I explained John 3:13 to you but you seem to think that the original texts are wrong and the KJV is...

    Loss of salvation???

Giving to the poor before salvation is done out of selfishness therefore it is not good. Giving to the poor after salvation is good because it is done for the lord not for one’s salvation. If one is only doing it for their salvation, would that not also be selfish? The works are the fruit...

    Loss of salvation???

No. Before my salvation the money I gave to them was not good. It was selfish. The money I gave to the person after my salvation was good but in no way did it contribute to my salvation.

    Loss of salvation???

I say good works are impossible before salvation because it is the intention behind those works that matter. Sure I can give money to someone before I am saved. From an external view that seems to be good. But why am I doing it? Am I doing for God? No. For the most part people attempt to do good...

    Loss of salvation???

Please quote where I said Jesus had identity issues. Did I ever say Jesus is not God? The ONE GOD(singular) is the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Are you always this difficult to have a discussion with? I’m still waiting on you to explain those verses. There’re in post #5,796

    Loss of salvation???

I said you either believe that Jesus had identity issues or you believed in 3 gods. I supplied verses and you refused to explain them as to how they make sense without the trinity. I mean if you have the truth and love others, would you not want to explain to them the truth?

    Loss of salvation???

So you prefer to stay closed minded to the truth. This is the same reason R.E. McAlister was labeled a heretic. Modalism is heresy. There is one God so at least you have that going for you. I’ll be praying for your eyes to be opened. Love ya.

    Loss of salvation???

I’ll put it this way. Do i like miracles? Yes I love them. But if we focus on the miracles we will miss the Miracle Worker. Same with good works. Focus too much on the works and we’ll miss the One that produces those works. Focus on Him and works will come naturally.

    Loss of salvation???

I stuck to the KJV for you since you seem to disregard all other versions even the oldest Greek manuscripts we have. You seem to put the KJV translators as being more Spirit filled than the authors of the original language. In the name of. We can go ahead and get technical with the name of...

    Loss of salvation???

True faith produces obedience. It is a reflection of the faith, not a separate condition for salvation. The tree produces the fruit. The fruit does not produce the tree. Faith produces obedience. Obedience does not produce faith.
