its ignored bcuz Jesus didnt return then so it wasnt fulfilled. if He returned where is the kingdom of Israel with Jesus leading it and nations going there to keep da feast of tabernacles?

And why do you say that? What was the Lord's sacrifice during the Babylonian captivity, who were the guest bidden?
Yes, but not in this passage. Ez 23:14-16 is the companion passage, it's clearer there.
See you guys totally ignore the fact that Jesus left the earth, went to hell to minister to the spirits there, and then RETURNED to earth.
You guys lump all mentionings of Jesus' returning into ONE return at the start of the milennium. Jesus left, went to hell, came back, left at the acension and is coming back again.
V 4 mentions Baal, which relates to Babylon. They weren't worshiping Baal during the time of Christ anymore.
His "guests" were the Babylonians, there to execute judgment. The sacrifice was the Jews, His hand was stretched out against them (v.4).
I didn't say anything about 70 ad. After Jesus ascended the sun went dark, the moon turned to blood. This is according to the book of Acts.

The main debate about the day of the Lord is when it started. Some believe it started at his first coming and will continue until his second.

Regarding Darby, this is just a popular apologetic that you and others continue to repeat over and over to discredit those of us who believe in the Lord's promise to keep us out of the hour of wrath and take us back to the Father's house. As I have said so many times, neither Darby, nor MacDonald, nor Scofield are responsible for the teaching that the gathering of the church takes place prior to God's wrath, but is scriptural. I have never read anything by any of those people, yet I came to this conclusion from comparing and cross-referencing scripture.
Please explain to me Rev.17:14, 19:6-8 and 19:14. Who are they and when and where are they descending from?

Therefore regarding the day of the Lord continuing until the Lord's second coming, that would mean that the characteristics mentioned above would have continued until this very day and you can see for yourself that that is not true.
The day of the Lord will be an unprecedented time of wrath which will be in operation in during that last seven years. The day of the Lord is not currently in operation. Furthermore, below is what Zephaniah prophesied regarding the day of the Lord:
"I will sweep away everything from the face of the earth, When I destroy all mankind on the face of the earth, declares the LORD.

Between the prophecy of Isaiah and Zephaniah, has any that was mentioned taken place? Are we experiencing it now?
This is why I continue to proclaim that, those who claim that the church is going to go through the day of the Lord, the wrath of God, do not understand the severity and magnitude of God's coming wrath. It will be just as Jesus said, "unless those days had been shortened, no one would be left alive."
