of course not. Apples and oranges. Forgiveness of sins was covered with Jesus' sacrifice. Healing from illness in our "fallen" bodies is not guaranteed. Otherwise, no believer would ever die....

When I was younger, our elders would regularly go to those that were very ill, and pray over them, and anoint them with oil. Some were healed, some were not. It is completely up to God, and He has a plan that includes all of us. Following some "instruction book for healing" does not...

Actually, there were two cakes... technically, I guess three.... one big flat cake with great white icing, but it was half chocolate cake and half vanilla.... first one of those I'd seen.... the other was a wonderful white-choc raspberry bundt cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes. ..... and ice...

"tree" is a euphemism for "cross"..... There are many examples in scripture.... calling Jesus the "lamb of God".... that doesn't mean that Jesus was an actual sheep...

God disciplines us.... why would we be against discipline? Reasoning with children that have no concept of reasoning is a fruitless endeavor. Sometimes, you must lovingly "get their attention" .... the key is "lovingly".

I don't guess I understand the question? "Living like Jesus" is not all that is required... Buddhists do that.... Did I leave something out in my statement? I thought I covered the basics of being a believer? Can you elaborate on your question, perhaps I misunderstood you....
