I used to beieve the man of sin would be revealed only when he commits the abomination occures (this is a mid trib argument) uuntil I read where the man of sin would be revealed LONG before this happens, In the beginning of the seven years.

Like I said, You just made my point for me, I agree, it will be all over the news, and when that u7 year treaty is ratified there will be no more question as to who the man of sin is.

According to thesselonians, the restrainer is to be removed BEFORE this event.

I have been a pre-triber since I was a kid. And I have ALWAYS heard the restrainor would be removed BEFORE the man of sin is revealed. Its why when I started to study on my own, instead of just blindly believing what I was taught, I started to question, Because in my view, the man of sin would not be revealed until he defiles the most holy place.

And yes I know who the restrainer is. Its why I believe the rapture happens WHEN he is removed. And why God picks 144000 jews to be missionaries to spread his word. Because the church is gone.

Let me just say, all this opposition is meaningless if you cannot speak from Jesus and the apostles.

Aim for perfection - an impossible aspiration, unless Paul knew both the goal and the blessing in
Christ that He gives. These guys knew Jesus face to face, their message was God has come to man
and walked with us and declared us clean.

So either our understanding of clean is wrong or God accepts sin. If God does not accept sin,
our understanding of what is clean is wrong.

Some claim this dilutes Gods righteousness, but when examined these people have created their
own morality which is far too condemning and do not know the embrace love gives us and how
to have an open purified heart in the Holy Spirit, to be the dwelling place of the Lord. Amen
 
Does TOTAL SURRENDER exclude LOVE?

Many on this thread would CLAIM of being BORN AGAIN of INCORRUPTIBLE SEED but loves to INSULT, MALIGN and MOCK as if there's no way they can be wrong...too much PRIDE.

There are those who preach about LOVE so much but just the same, they INSULT, MALIGN and MOCK.

The apostle John said that LOVE is WALKING IN OBEDIENCE TO HIS COMMANDS while the Lord Jesus said that IF YOU WANT TO ENTER LIFE, OBEY THE COMMANDMENTS.

Is it TOTAL SURRENDER to DISOBEY GOD because they believe that they are ALWAYS SAVED and their SINS in the PAST, PRESENT and FUTURE were all forgiven thus there's no more ACCOUNTABILITY for them?

Is it TOTAL SURRENDER to CLAIM that you LOVE God then teach that OBEDIENCE TO GOD has no bearing in SALVATION?

Is it TOTAL SURRENDER or do you not rebel against God who has all the POWER and authority to save you by saying that OBEDIENCE TO GOD is just a part of LOVE but has no bearing in SALVATION.

Is it TOTAL SURRENDER to put LOVE beyond or lower than SALVATION?

If you do believe that God is LOVE, Is there anything greater than LOVE?

Rejecting or excluding LOVE from SALVATION would only mean that SALVATION is GREATER than LOVE and Faith ALONE saves regardless of HAVING or NOT "LOVE".

Those verses above do not INSULT, MALIGN or MOCK me, but you do if you are using those verses against me to imply that I'm a hypocrite, liar and enemy of God. By your sarcastic remark "I'm not surprised" it would appear so, yet regardless, my conscience is clear. I find it interesting that you have the audacity to accuse others of loving to INSULT, MALIGN and MOCK others on Christian Chat, yet do the same thing yourself. It's called hypocrisy. BTW in context, Mark 7:6-13 is directed at the Pharisees and scribes (see Mark 7:1-5) and NOT to believers.

I have come to see the problem is how the discussion is being pitched.
From a sinners perspective, staying as they are without cost or challenge is preferable, with an upside that
is eternal. Once you remove sin, this is what you get, 100%, doing whatever is right in ones own eyes or
lawlessness.

The dilemma we have is the unbelievers who have blinded themselves and dig each day a deeper hole will
probably never get out, because they have disarmed their conscience, kept their self justification for a putrid
heart, and made Jesus into a quick paint job merchant, white washed tombs, except now they do not even
have to be white washed, just a new brown tint :sick:

The problem I have is the Holy God who reached my heart, who forgave the woman caught in adultery, leads
His people into perfection, to be like their Saviour, pure, blameless, loving and whole.

Bible translators thought the words were too strong so translated perfect as mature. But the cross is this
ambitious because it is about perfection, eternity and meeting God the Holy one, the Creator of all things.

I went back to the beginning of this thread to find some of PJ’s posts, and then looked him up. I am amazed as to how many people have been banned (or is now a guest because they deleted their profile) . In one of his threads. Almost everyone who responded was banned.. Just nuts!!

It's like the game of "whack a mole" on Christian Chat. A mole gets whacked (banned) then another mole pops up and it's not uncommon to find that it's the same mole with a new name. :cautious:

Since you mentioned that Mark 7:6-13 is directed at the pharisees and scribes and not to believers then do you agree that the GIFTS and CALL which are IRREVOCABLE (Romans 11:29) are directed to the people of Israel?

I asked you this because you seem to not believe that ... "all Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17...and that they are SPIRITUALLY DISCERNED (1 Corinthians 2;10-16,having the WISDOM from God...in TRUE RIGHTEOUSNESS AND HOLINESS.(1 Corinthians 1:18-31, Ephesians 4:24)

... Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show it by his good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom. But if you harbor bitter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast about it or deny the truth. Such “wisdom” does not come down from heaven but is earthly, unspiritual, of the devil. For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice. But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. And that ... For even Christ did not please himself but, as it is written: “The insults of those who insult you have fallen on me.” For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.

Now, if you cannot accept and agree with what the Scriptures say then maybe you should think about this for a while and think it over again...
