Yes, I believe that, but that does not happen until the 1000 year earthly reign of Christ is complete. When he has subdued all earthly rebellion he will turn the kingdom over to the father. Then the new Jerusalem will descend from heaven and a new heavens and earth will be created.

To posit that a new heavens and earth happens when he returns at the resurrection requires ignoring numerous things in scripture. For example, death will not have been defeated when the lord returns because it is written that a child will be 100 years old during his reign, which indicates that life spans will greatly increase as they were at the beginning of the world.

Then [cometh] the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. The last enemy [that] shall be destroyed [is] death. For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith, all things are put under [him, it is] manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all. 1 Corinthians 15:24-28

There is no earthly restoration and thousand year reign jesusnis going to destroy the earth when he returns from heaven

you know this part your quoting ?

“When he has subdued all earthly rebellion he will turn the kingdom over to the father.”

it says he’s going to be in heaven at the right hand of God until that happens .

Then he will return with salvation and judgement and fire . first this will happen not a thousand years after but the moment he returns from heaven this will happen.

“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”
‭‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭4:16-17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

heres more about that

“Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:51-52‬ ‭KJV‬‬

And then after all his people are gathered the dead and living this will happen not a thousand years after but the same day and moment

“and to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; when he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe in that day.”
‭‭2 Thessalonians‬ ‭1:7-10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

there is no thousand year reign on earth that’s my position there’s nothing in the doctrine to support it all of the doctrine says when Jesus retirns this world will be destroyed and his promises will come to pass . There’s no promise to isreel for a thousand year reign and then this worlds destroyed and then he restored them another time from heaven . It’s a misinterpretation of revelation 20 looking at it from the worlds perspective that’s why people always find false predictions in it . they look at the world trying to understand an apacolypse from God about the Bible and his promises his plans are all laid out for us to find in his word there’s no doctrine in Christ for another reign on this earth it’s all about what he actually promised them that’s not according to the covenant and land you all are trying to stick them with still . There’s a much better trying he has for Israel and all mankind if they repent and believe the gospel

the first resurrection has already happened Jesus is already reigning in heaven with his saints of the ot and the firstfruits .

In heavens kingdom until he returns to gather the New Testament folks

I used to think the same things some of you did but there’s no doctrine I can find to support that interpretations of revelation 20 everything does support Jesus promise of a new heaven and earth being where things are fulfilled there’s no covenant promises being fulfilled in tbe ot they were conditional based on thier obedience or rebellion life or death a blessing or a curse

thier promise is Christ. As long nt as they reject him like they do today I’m not sure why you folks believe he’s blessing them through war and bombardments of children and citizens or espionage where they blow pagers up

seems like mans will but I’m okay with you believing what you do . I simply don’t agree with you . It’s not the end of the world to me anyways I don’t need to convince you . Inised to think some of the same things but the more of the bi Leno began to study the more I realized the New Testament doesn’t teach about that but about this world being doomed the day he returns and that’s what we’re actually being savedfrom that day of utter destruction but there’s simply no doctrine for any thousand year earthly riegn that’s just kissinderrrsnding an apacalyptic and how they work

This cannot possibly happen in a new heavens and earth which occur after death is destroyed. So it has to be during the millennium

There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner [being] an hundred years old shall be accursed. Isaiah 65:20

yeah it sure can’t Jesus took death away in his promises world to come good thing for apacolypse !!

No it it says he will be there until all earthly kingdoms become the kingdoms of Christ. When the 7th trumpet sounds the kingdoms of the world become the kingdoms of the lord and his Christ, which indicates Christ has not yet turned his kingdom over to the father.

And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become [the kingdoms] of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. Revelation 11:15
btw I wish you would break your posts up into smaller posts to make one or two points in each. They wander all over the place and are much too difficult to follow.

the first resurrection has already happened Jesus is already reigning in heaven with his saints of the ot and the firstfruits .

How has the first resurrection already happened?

And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and [I saw] the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received [his] mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This [is] the first resurrection. Blessed and holy [is] he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. Revelation 20:4-6
Christ is not yet reigning over the kingdoms of the world. This parable teaches that he departed earth to receive a kingdom from the father, then returns to earth to rule. Christ has not yet returned

He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return. Luke 19:12
And it came to pass, that when he was returned, having received the kingdom, then he commanded these servants to be called unto him, to whom he had given the money, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading. Luke 19:15

“No it it says he will be there until all earthly kingdoms become the kingdoms of Christ.”

its a teaching from prophecy psalm 110 …. As most of the epistles and sermons in acts are

The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: Rule thou in the midst of thine enemies. Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, In the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: Thou hast the dew of thy youth. The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭110:1-4

it’s applications are taught in the nt in the gospels Jesus spoke of it Paul wrote of it Peter the book of acts and book of Hebrews all address it’s meaning I could share those many verses but the posts get pretty long……

but see what you are saying there now look at this

“he will be there until all earthly kingdoms become the kingdoms of Christ. “

now look at this

“And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭28:18-20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

after jesus said that then this happened

“So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭16:19‬ ‭

He’s ruling from heaven the earth already belongs to Jesus his mercy and forebearance towards us is the reason he hasn’t returned . That’s the whole thing peters addressing in 2 Peter 3 “ When will Jesus the lord of heaven and earth it’s true and eternal king return as he promised ? And what will happen when he does ?

“Above all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. They will say, “Where is this ‘coming’ he promised? Ever since our ancestors died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.” But they deliberately forget that long ago by God’s word the heavens came into being and the earth was formed out of water and by water. By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed. By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly. But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare. Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat. But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells. So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him.”
‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭3:3-14‬ ‭

will you address this one direct thing , why shouldnt peters doctrine be considered ? And why doesn’t he leave any room or make even a mention of this Jewish restoration for a thousand years on earth ?

Why os there no mention of something so important as a thousand year earthly reign in doctrine ? I’m not asking about johns apacolypse

I’m asking about the literal doctrine like peters here . Why is he pointing everyone to the return of Christ in which the earth and heavens will be destroyed and then giving them hope saying “ nevertheless we have his promise of a new heaven and earth ?”

Why isn’t it in any of the actual doctrine ? That’s a real question I am asking you . Wouldnt something like that , be as repetetive as all the other important doctrine ? Like what oeters writing abive there ?

why wouldnt Paul ever mention this thousand year literal earthly riegn either ? He was also an Israelite and apostle like Peter he and Peter never taught a word about it and tboer teaching don’t even allow for it

“for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, “Peace and safety,” destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.

May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
‭‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5:2-3, 23‬ ‭NIV‬‬
“and give relief to you who are troubled, and to us as well. This will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with his powerful angels. He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might on the day he comes to be glorified in his holy people and to be marveled at among all those who have believed.
‭‭2 Thessalonians‬ ‭1:7-10‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Why doesn’t anyone ever just say “ Jesus will return and then rule for a thousand years and rebuild the temple and Jerusalem …. Sacrifice heifers ect ect no one ever says any of that stuff it’s just revelation a segment of johns apacolypse being misunderstood as a literal earthly event . It’s not . we on earth are waiting for what Peter is explaining there in 2 Peter 3 no one’s waiting for a restoration of this world but it’s destruction and the arrival of the new.

That seems to me to be what’s there where does this thousand years fit any of the doctrine ??? That’s my issue what they say and then what people say about this “ millennial “ reign doesn’t add up or work or fit together . I used to think the same things but I don’t anymore there’s too much doctrine in the Bible that doesn’t allow for it to even be possible

The king is already on his throne and there are already many living souls with him

will you address this one direct thing , why shouldnt peters doctrine be considered ? And why doesn’t he leave any room or make even a mention of this Jewish restoration for a thousand years on earth ?

I have addressed it. When the lord returns the earth and heavens are not destroyed. The earth is burned and the world and its works are destroyed.

Doctrine comes from the bible and a 1000 year reign is mentioned directly several times, yet for some reason that is glossed over and ignored by you because it is in John's revelation. Why do you do that and why do you think that is warranted?

Paul did write about the 1000-year reign (1 Corinthians 15:24-28 ), but didn't know or care to divulge it's length. Peter may not have known about it, or known enough, or thought it was important, to write about it. Just as the prophets didn't see the details clearly, the apostles didn't see everything clearly either (for we see through a glass darkly). Paul was the most educated and John IMO was the most spiritually gifted, and from those 2 we read about an earthly return and reign of Christ, which John specifies to be 1000 years before the earth and heavens are transformed into what we don't know.

Rebuilding of the temple is not part of the doctrine because Christ and his people are the temple.

No, Jesus is not on his throne. He is seated at the right hand of the father's throne. Then when the time is fulfilled he will stand and return to earth to sit on his throne for 1000 years until all earthly rule and authority is put down, at which point he hands his throne over to the father, who descends with new Jerusalem to be with us, so that God may be all in all.

Now will you answer why in the parable I mentioned Christ goes to heaven to receive a kingdom and then returns to his servants waiting for him on earth? Nowhere does doctrine teach that they will return to heaven to rule from there, and what would they rule over? Doctrine teaches that they will rule over the nations, but your doctrine teaches that the earth and its inhabitants are completely destroyed at Christ's return. So what is there to rule over in your doctrine?

Also, how does a youth die at 100 years old, as mentioned in the Isaiah prophecy I posted, if the earth and its inhabitants are destroyed at the lord's return?

There is no earthly restoration and thousand year reign jesusnis going to destroy the earth when he returns from heaven

Yes I am of the same mind.
I really think the issue is delineating what is symbolic language to reveal to reveal a truth and what is clear, more literal language.

Also, how does a youth die at 100 years old, as mentioned in the Isaiah prophecy I posted, if the earth and its inhabitants are destroyed at the lord's return?

The word for child in this verse means pre-adolescent.

There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner [being] an hundred years old shall be accursed. (Isaiah 65:20)
H5288 נַעַר na`ar (nah'-ar) n-m.
1. (concretely) a boy (as active), from the age of infancy to adolescence.

A 100-year-old youth in a world with 1000 year lifespans, as was the case at the beginning (approximately), corresponds with a 10-year-old child in a world with 100 year lifespans.

As mankind drifted away from God after Adma's fall and got further away from the knowledge of God, their lifespans decreased over time from around 1000 years to what they are now at around 80-100 years. This is particularly noticeable after the confusion of tongues at Babel when lifespans were cut nearly in half (see Peleg's lifespan vs his father's in Genesis genealogy ; Peleg means division). That confusion of mind caused the scattering of mankind across the face of the earth, which accelerated the diminishment of the knowledge of God from every culture developing its own mythology of their origins.

It is my belief that under Christ's rule the knowledge of God will fill the earth through the work of his holy ones (us) and consequently, lifespans of natural men will increase over time to what they were during the time of Adam.

I think if I understand you correctly you take this as Peter addressing believers which he is not hes addressing un believers.
Those who still believe the seed is bloodline that gives them a free pass.
The phase " thief in the night" refers to children of darkness not children of light. We who believe are not taken by surprise for we were given the signs to watch for.
But for those who look for his return and ignore the signs it takes them by surprise......such in the days of Noah.

Do they ever consider what they unequivocally support without reservation.
Oh right they are barely humans, Amalek and deserve to be wiped off the map.

Oh right it is war.

In their ignorance they think they are doing service to God by cheering on the coveting/theft of land and the ethnic cleansing of even Palestinian Christians. They will reap a just reward for their ungodly attitude

Yeah which part is for unbelievers ? ….of peters epistle written to the church with precious faith ?

“Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:”
‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭1:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬

It’s doctrine from Jesus apostles they all taught it so did he

And your evidence of a thousand year earthly riegn …. Is 1Corinthians 15
Which doesn’t even hint at any such thing but fits perfectly with what Jesus and his apostles taught out his return . Funny they never taught a single iota of doctrines out a thousand year esrthly riegn or rebuilding of Jerusalem and it’s temple ect ect seems like they would have actually taught something about it this …… doesn’t even suggest anything like that

“For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:21-26‬ ‭KJV‬‬

thats not at all anyone teaching about a restored israel and rebuilt Jerusalem of a thousand year reign . It’s actually Paul teaching about the resurrection to come at the end. When Jesus retirns from heaven to gather his people in a moment before the destruction

“But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come? Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die: it is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:35-36, 44, 48-52‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Nothing to do at all with Israel’s restoration as your trying to make it to be…..

Yes I am of the same mind.
I really think the issue is delineating what is symbolic language to reveal to reveal a truth and what is clear, more literal language.
I think the key to revelation is understanding that the Bible is an apacolypse , it’s progressive and draws from the prophetic imagery beforehand heres a really good example of what I’m saying

apacalypse

“And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭11:3-4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

John never sees two olive trees and candlesticks in his vision But it’s apacalypse coming from this

“and said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof: and two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof. Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof? And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves? And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my Lord. Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.”
‭‭Zechariah‬ ‭4:2-3, 11-14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

and then further from this

“And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistering. ( candlestick of all gold )

And, behold, there talked with him two men, which were Moses and Elijah: who appeared in glory, and spake of his decease which he should accomplish at Jerusalem.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭9:29-31‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The other things we learn in the Bible come together in revelations visions and received words the seeing and hearing of johns apacalypse

Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, And the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; Thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel. Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, When his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭2:6-9, 12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭16:19‬ ‭KJV‬‬
