Gee... the Bible says otherwise:
Genesis 9:25 "he (Noah) said, “Cursed be Canaan! The lowest of slaves will he be to his brothers.” "
Genesis 27:29 "May those who curse you be cursed and those who bless you be blessed.”
Exodus 21:17 “Anyone who curses their father or mother is to be put to...
Again, you aren't reading the text closely enough. Jesus said, "The one who is without sin, let him cast the first stone." He didn't specify whether they were guilty of adultery, let alone guilty of committing adultery with that woman at that time.
Not everything is provable by scriptural quotations. I can't prove to you what God said to me during my prayer time, but it is no less real than the words on the page.
The Bible does not explain every possible situation that Christians will face. We need the Holy Spirit's guidance and we need...
My first post to you was respectful. Your first post to me was personally disparaging. Now you want to pull the righteous card and blame me for starting a battle. It ain't gonna fly.
The sun passes from the East to the West over the Earth. If the North-centric flat Earth is as a clock face, the sun moves counterclockwise.
You have provided an explanation that fails to account for angular velocity. The sun dips below the horizon at exactly the same rate at which it moves...
Really? Where did Jesus say that it was adequate? Are you going beyond what is written?
Of course you are, which makes you a hypocrite.
Next time, don't open with a jab; you'll get a knockout punch in return.
At the following link, you can see an image of the Sydney (Australia) Opera House, which was build on a peninsula that juts northward into Sydney Harbour.

In this picture, you can see the sun rising toward the...
I'd suggest you review what "clockwise" means. You contradicted yourself in the paragraph above. From the perspective of a viewer "above" the plane of the earth, the sun would travel counterclockwise. I won't bore you with an explanation of reality though.
Which explains "up" and "down" above...
I am astounded that you would use "Do not go beyond what is written" so completely out of context. However, if you think it is there to restrict your vocabulary, that's your choice. I find "possession" quite inadequate to describe all the situations I have experienced personally.
The problem is that you are trying to follow a legal requirement instead of giving from your heart. For the Christian, the legal requirement does not exist, though many believe it does. If you think you are required to surrender a certain amount or percentage to your local church, of course it...
By the way, any thinking person who reads my post would not think for a moment that I contradicted myself. As for "pedantic", a large number of people read posts on this site and learn about Christianity. I will happily correct "every little term" when it comes to teaching correct Christian...
