As We Observe The Seventh Day Sabbath As A Sign Between Him And Us Being Holy/Scripture

I made that clear in my previous post… the Sinai covenant.

    Flat earth debunked.

And who, exactly, is repeating the same stuff over and over again, and getting refuted each time? The FE advocates… one in particular.

Yes, but you are not raised to life so that you can abide by the old law.

As We Observe The Seventh Day Sabbath As A Sign Between Him And Us Being Holy/Scripture

The old (Sinai) covenant is set aside. That is crystal clear from Hebrews 8:6-13. Huh? That doesn’t make any sense. Of course Jesus didn’t come to make us lawless. He came to fulfill the righteous requirements of the law. In Christ, we died to the law.

Christ kept the Law of Moses, so....

The law is a unit, not a group of commandments that one may or may not follow. You either follow it completely or you are a lawbreaker. There is no Scripture dividing the law into components. Further, we don’t “follow the law “ regarding quarantine, though we may employ the principle.

As We Observe The Seventh Day Sabbath As A Sign Between Him And Us Being Holy/Scripture

When was the last time you attended the Temple for Yom Kippur? Oh… right, there is no Temple, so you skipped it last year (and every other year) which makes you a sinner. You CANNOT follow the Law perfectly; it’s completely impossible. However, God doesn’t intend for you to follow the Law...

    Idolitry

Hi Blik… perhaps you could unpack your question with a few examples? That way we might have a better idea what you’re thinking.

Your Bing search has led you astray, to the exact opposite conclusion that Jusus intended. He was explaining that the Sabbath is intended as a blessing. By implying that it is “law”, you make it something to be enforced rather than enjoyed.

Does the Bible support the idea of a spinning ball earth flying through space, or is that a Satanic, Masonic lie?

Um, no. I only disagreed with one particular part if your post. Because you assumed what I believe, I stated my belief clearly, recognizing that we agreed on much of what was said.

There is no relationship between your comment and the post you quoted. Not that you care.

That gives ‘Ground Chuck’ a different nuance.

    What Would You Have Done?

To be strictly accurate, there is only one place in Scripture where it is recorded that Jesus "wrote" about anything... in the dust at the temple when the woman caught in adultery was brought before Him, and His message there was not recorded. ;) He spoke about tithing three times, to the...

Does the Bible support the idea of a spinning ball earth flying through space, or is that a Satanic, Masonic lie?

I really don't care what "heliocentrists" believe. Gravity explains phenomena for which you have no explanation. Until you can come up with an explanation that does not depend on the gravity you claim to reject, you are without any valid theory. Burden of proof, indeed; "flat earth" is not my...

Does the Bible support the idea of a spinning ball earth flying through space, or is that a Satanic, Masonic lie?

Bouyancy and density are dependent on gravity. If you think otherwise, you are free to propose an alternate hypothesis for testing. Which does not mean it is not valid and sound. I don't see FE'ers proposing an alternate, testable hypothesis that has not already been refuted.

    Flat earth debunked.

You make a claim that is easily refuted, I will happily refute it. As you earlier claimed, one counter-example ruins your whole argument. I guess you don't really believe that. Yawn. Science includes the application of theories to cases where direct examination is not possible.

    What Would You Have Done?

A church I attended many years ago had written requirements for formal membership (and therefore voting privileges) that included paying a 10% tithe. I was never a member there, and though I left because I moved, I would have left soon anyway as I had lost all respect for the pastor, mainly...
