    Ephesians 4:11-16

In my experience, it is due to the teaching of the denomination that they belong to. I spent several years involved in the Brethren movement. I went to their Bible College. I have great admiration for them because they did in most areas do what the scripture says, not what the denomination says...

    Is Baptism necessary for Salvation?

On the day of Pentecost when the first influx of believers took place, they were told "Repent and be baptized for the forgiveness of sin and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." Can anyone tell me if baptism is not important to salvation why were the first converts told to be baptised?

    Pentecostalism's sketchy origins

Nope. When I hear the baby babbling supposed tounges and rolling on the ground falling over slaying in the Spirit business.......I bailout and never come back. Probably a good thing as someone as cynical as you is not going to add anything to a meeting of any kind.

    Pentecostalism's sketchy origins

NO, I have the words of my own personal experience, and if you don't accept that you are calling me a liar. I have the words of the books that have been written by those Muslims who met Jesus miraculously. if you don't accept that then you are calling them a liar. If you don't accept the words...

What for as you sound as though you would not accept it. I found out by reading articles in christian magazines where they quoted his own words. And as they all said the same thing that makes them authentic. All you have to do is look up Benny Hinn on the internet. That should not be too hard...

    Pentecostalism's sketchy origins

Put it this way. I have about 50 books and articles about modern-day miracles. I personally have been involved in the miracle of healing. I have books that tell the story of Jesus appearing to Muslims in the night and as a result, they have become born-again believers. In other words, all you...

Do you view Holy Communion as Literal or Symbolic?

Tradition is good sometimes and most of the time it is extremely BAD. And why is that? Because it keeps you confined in a straightjacket of incorrect translation of scripture. But we have always done things this way??? That suggests to me by the sparse bums on seats that it is time to do it...

Do you view Holy Communion as Literal or Symbolic?

In my two-year study of the subject involving 60 books, it became very clear that no wine became blood and no bread became human flesh. Jews were forbidden to drink human blood or eat human flesh.
