    Understanding God’s election

Simple. If sin is never introduced, there is no need for blood atonement. Thus, the cross isn't necessary. Eternal life would still need to be conferred upon Adam at some point, but not as a result of the cross.

Could Trump do anything to make you stop supporting him?

Then you don't understand politics. Democrats make much of helping people, but their goal is only to increase spending. Understanding God’s election

He still wouldn't qualify as either high priest or as Son. And he still wouldn't have eternal life within himself. Also, perfect biblically is generally maturity, and not sinlessness. Also, sinlessness wasn't the only requirement for Jesus to qualify as God's Servant.

Are you making the point that Adam was made perfect? If not, what is your point?

    Understanding God’s election

I never said Adam was perfect. I also said eternal life would need to be conferred upon him. But Christ need not have died because there would be no sin to atone for. Adam was given life in creation; not eternal life.

    Understanding God’s election

I don't disagree that Christ is elect. I never made the connection to the Tree of Life in the garden. Not opposed to it.

    Understanding God’s election

As I've said before, get up off the couch in the basement, change your pajamas, loose the suspenders, they don't match your bowtie. Go outside and get some fresh air. And please, use a little less starch in your tighty-whities. You are choking off oxygen to your brain.

    Understanding God’s election

My argument is bolstered by the fact that the Jews were also blinded in part. That Jews wrote the majority of scripture is just part of the fulfillment of God's promise that all the nations of the earth will be blessed through Abraham.

    Understanding God’s election

No, it was a matter of order. God began first with Jews and then to Gentiles. Jews actually would be a harder sell on the gospel with all their baggage.
