Question for those who believe in a Pre-Tribulation Rapture

I think you have that back to front. God keeps His people out of the sphere of trouble and places them in the safe spaces. Noah was placed in the Ark and the rest went through trouble. Lot was removed from the sphere of destruction and allowed to find safety in the mountains. Rahab remained...

Asking the Father for his Spirit.

Yes, you extinguish His leading, you do not extinguish Him. It is why we are commanded to be filled or to walk by means of the Spirit. You do not lose the Spirit, He doesn't go anywhere, He remains in you at all times therefore you never have to ask. The Spirit is God's gift to us so that we...

Asking the Father for his Spirit.

No you don't ask, you are insulting God by suggesting He doesn't keep His promise. You are never without the Spirit. It is the Spirit that seals you are causes your body to be a temple to God. The giving of the Spirit is a gift. Acts 2:38 Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of...

Asking the Father for his Spirit.

Yes, when we sin, if we do not apply 1John1:9 and confess our sin, we grieve the Spirit within us. If we continue to justify our sin, we will quench the Spirit. This is why we are commanded to be filled with the Spirit, not because He is no longer in us but because we are no longer walking under...

Asking the Father for his Spirit.

You don't have to ask. It is automatic when you are baptized in the Spirit. If the Spirit left us when we sinned then we could not grieve or quench Him for He would not be there. Ephesians 4:30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. 1...

Asking the Father for his Spirit.

You don't have to ask anymore. Jesus said that in a time before the Spirit was given. Now He baptizes us in the Spirit when we believe, sealing us until the day of redemption. John 7:39 But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was...

What is the point in being a prophet?

If you think that makes you a prophet, then so am I, as I have known that (what your sign says) since the 1980's. I think you confuse being prophetic with the appointment of prophet. All Christians ought to be prophetic for the testimony of Christ is the spirit of prophecy. Revelation 19:10...

What is the point in being a prophet?

I always wonder what a prophet could say that God has not repeated a thousand times already. How loud does the Lord have to yell before people hear? Is sending His own Son not enough? <sigh>

Question for those who believe in a Pre-Tribulation Rapture

I cannot comprehend how you have a Kingdom Rule with a missing King and no believers.

This soul is a warrior who knows how to stand and stand again and then stand some more. ;)

Question for those who believe in a Pre-Tribulation Rapture

You think the Second Coming happens at the end of the Millennium. You have no event to initiate the Millenium other than the Resurrection of Tribulation saints and no Ruler to rule over the Earth. Your Millennium still has an absent King and an absent body of believers, afterall, Jesus said He...

Question for those who believe in a Pre-Tribulation Rapture

I see, want to get pendantic do we? You know darn well Daniel's 70th week is commonly referred to as the Great Tribulation period and runs for 7 years. The fact that the first 42 months appears peaceful doesn't mean people are not suffering.

Question for those who believe in a Pre-Tribulation Rapture

You obviously have reading difficulties. What part of "not returning to earth" do you not understand. The scripture is very clear Christ is appearing to snatch away His Body and take it to be where He is. He descends from the third heaven to the first heaven, there is no talk of coming to...

Question for those who believe in a Pre-Tribulation Rapture

That's because He is not returning (to earth), He is appearing to snatch away His Church. There are no prophecies to fulfill before that happens. The Second Coming (to earth) on the other hand, has 7 years of prophecies to fulfill before He returns.

Question for those who believe in a Pre-Tribulation Rapture

I agree with this part of your post. I disagree with this part. Reason being, although there are exceptions to the rule (ie. Lazarus), the Lord knowing all things would know how that child would have responded had they lived long enough and I think the Lord has allowed young death to test...

Question for those who believe in a Pre-Tribulation Rapture

People are still in the flesh who enter the Millennium. There are still children being born and some of them will rebel just as people do now. No-one is completely free from sin until we are in our resurrection bodies.

Question for those who believe in a Pre-Tribulation Rapture

@Inquisitor A minor correction to my post of post #378. The war at the end of the Millennium is the "Gog/Magog revolution" not Armageddon as that war takes place at the end of the Tribulation and is when Christ returns and destroys His enemies.

Question for those who believe in a Pre-Tribulation Rapture

As I understand it, the next prophetic event is Christ appears in the heavens where His Church meets Him in the air and He removes them to where He is (Resurrection of the Church saints). Then the anti-christ is revealed when he sets up a treaty with Israel which begins the 7year tribulation. At...

Question for those who believe in a Pre-Tribulation Rapture

A minor correction if I may. :) "sawdust isn't saying she, herself holds such a view" Normally I don't worry about the correction but I felt it necessary in this thread.
