My hunch is that it's when you say the work of the Holy Spirit is the work of demons/Satan. Or vice versa. Right before Jesus talked about the unpardonable sin, the Pharisees were accusing him of casting out demons by the power of Beelzebub. At that point, Jesus mentions this sin. So perhaps...
