Can anyone else define these terms as they are used in the Bible?

will=want to. The concept is well expressed in this passage: Isaiah 55:1 “Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.” This "come ye... eat" in no way implies being forced...

    The meaning of salvation

Receiving Jesus' atonement is not the "old law of works". Your statements are blatantly odd and deceptive.

    The Judgment Seat Of Christ!

The Bible does talk about the testing of believers' works and their different associated rewards. We must never get stuck in the rut of thinking there is just one judgement. They are many, and of diverse types.

    Hello, fellow Christians!

Welcome, brother Martin. Your English comes across very well on my end. :)(y) You are correct that the Bible is its own best interpreter, but we must still meditate and seek the Spirit of understanding together. That's how God designed it to work best. It is good that you have come. Let us...

Hello and welcome, brother Caleb. After many years of neglect, I just dusted off my old keyboard and began to plunk away again. I will also try to make nice sounds with an electric guitar. Music theory fascinates me. Why do some combinations of notes sound better than others? :geek:(y):coffee:

    The Judgment Seat Of Christ!

Yes. But we sometimes label such things as "Judgements". In this case "Bema Seat Judgement." No need to get upset by mere labels. You can call it the "Bema Bonfire" if you like. :geek:

    The Judgment Seat Of Christ!

1 Cor 3: 10According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. 11For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12Now if any...

    If I was a prophet ....

Amen Bro. For sure on that. Time is short. Eternity is long. 2 Peter 3: 1This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance: 2That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the...

These next 2 years will be terrible, the year 6,000 is approaching in 2026 AD

Actually, you have brought to mind in me the two witnesses. It is these who shall testify and witness to the left behind of one last chance to come to Jesus. Many of the left behind shall be Jews who had, up till now, rejected Him. We call the Trib "The time of Jacob's trouble" for this reason.

These next 2 years will be terrible, the year 6,000 is approaching in 2026 AD The coming Tribulation will be terrible, but Jesus has not appointed His Bride to wrath. After the Rapture and Wedding in Heaven, He will return with us... Jude 1:14 “And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam...

    Why have you forsaken me?

Jesus took upon Himself the sins of the world and paid the price we cannot pay. Jesus wanted us to see that sinfulness cannot enter Heaven and that, unless we let Him take away our sins, His Father and He shall likewise turn their backs upon us in the day of judgement. That Jesus could bear the...

    Question

They are people born with a sin nature and a choice to make just like we are. Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have...

Does the sovereignty of God nullify the grace of God?

Does the sovereignty of God nullify the grace of God? I would say that it magnifies it in many ways. He was gracious and loving purely out of choice, not out of necessity. He gave us a choice because He wanted to, not because He had to.

Might a believer experience depression? (Don't be hasty in your response)

It is certainly ok to long for our heavenly home. There is no friend like Jesus. "I dare not trust the sweetest frame, but wholly rest on Jesus name." I will pray with you, dear precious friend.
