I do believe the plagues and genocide in Revelation 9 to correlate with the beasts ascension, but I do not know if these events correlate with the Lord's wrath coming upon the beasts worshippers in Revelation 16. It is possible. I do, however, believe there is correlation between the Lord's wrath coming upon the beast's worshippers in Revelation 16, with the judgment on the dragon and beast and false prophet in Revelation 19 & 20.

Revelation 11:19 with the thunders, lightnings, a great earthquake, and great hail does correlate with the thunders and lightnings, a great earthquake and great hail in Revelation 16:18 & 21.

I do agree that the end of all that is currently under the devils control is coming soon. We are therefore to endure to the end, because we do not know when our specific hour our trials will come upon any of us in particular. I'm kind of glad that I'm a Christian here and not in North Korea, or China, or Nigeria, or some other similar nation that is persecuting and or killing Christians.

I strongly agree with you that the Lord returns in fire and final judgment dissolving this earth by fire as described in 2 Peter 3:10; but when does this occur? Does this occur shortly after the kingdom is awarded to the saints, which comes shortly after the conclusion of the beasts 42 months? Or does this come after the devil is cast into the bottomless pit for a thousand years (Revelation 20:2-3), after which he is released and deceives mankind to come up against the saints in Jerusalem, at which point fire from heaven comes down and destroys them (Revelation 20:9). It seems to me that the fire that dissolves the earth in 2 Peter 3:10 correlates with the fire that kills all the world's kingdoms who come up against the saints after their ruling with Christ for a thousand years, because in the very next chapter we read of a new heaven and a new earth (Revelation 21:1) .

1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
We are still not at that point where the mystery of God is finished with our understanding what all the Word represents. We are, however, at the point near the end where the events described by the prophet Daniel are now unsealed, with our understanding and knowledge of these events increasing (Daniel 12:4 & 9).
