I watched the American election even though I live in another country. I live in a country where corruption is rife, and nothing is being done about it. It is like evil and deceit are being celebrated all over the world. How many of you feel that we are approaching the point where it is going to be full-blown persecution of Christians. I have been feeling this in my spirit this whole year, that 2020 is the beginning of the total onslaught on our Heavenly Father's children.

Abba Father, I pray to you, please help us to be strong, In Our LORD and Saviour's Precious Name,Thank you JESUS.
28 And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. 29 Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. 30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 31 Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.

The New King James Version. (1982). (Mt 10:28–31). Nashville: Thomas Nelson.

While you're at it, please put these verses through your preterist meat grinder.
I mean to me this has premillennial written all over it........
No no one-liners or artful dodging Dino. Let's hear you defend your position. If you can.
And don't deny being a preterist. You have openly admitted it many many times.
Then you should have no trouble quoting me. Until you do, this conversation is over, as I'm not interested in entertaining your assumptions.

"Crickets" :)

The argument is, did these events in Matthew 24 take place in the 1st century AD, in Relationship to the generation Jesus spoke to?

As is clearly seen below, (This Generation) applies to a (Future) generation that will be eyewitnesses to the (Future) events that haven't taken place.

(This Generation Shall Not Pass, Till All These Things Be Fulfilled)?

This includes the (Second Coming) seen in verses 29-30 below, a (Future) event unfulfilled, a future generation will witness this event.

Verse 33: What is near, even at the doors, the (Second Coming)

Verse 36: What is the day and hour no man knows, the (Second Coming)

Matthew 24:29-36KJV

29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

As YOU see. I don't see it the way you do.
