The verse is quite plainly written, but I note you theologise much to overturn it to fit in with your narrative. That’s the issue look at the contemporary verses of the same sermons get more information
“And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.
Then let them which are in Judæa flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto. For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people. And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.”
Luke 21:20-24 KJV
matthews account of the same sermon ( ch24:1-2, Luke 21:5-6) gives different details to make a more complete picture Like this detail matters which she pointed out to you .
“Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.”
Matthew 24:34 KJV
The key to this particular sermon is to realize Jesus is answering two questions 1 “ what are the signs that Jerusalem and the tenoke are about to be destroyed and left desolate ? And 2 what are the signs at the end of the world when you promised to return ?
“And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying,1 Tell us, when shall these things be?
and 2 what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?”
Matthew 24:3 KJV
they want to know when the temple and city is going to be destroyed and then they want a sign for his coming at the end of the world …….. the chapter is not ordered chronologically you can see immediate fires and distant future throughout it back and forth the two answers one about Jerusalems destruction and that generation and also the sign of his return at the end of the world to gather his people and set the wrath of god ablaze upon the rest of creation.
Mark 13 is another third account of you are interested it’s most likely peters perspective written by mark given the content and personal perspectives of Peter in the book rather than trying to make everything about single verses take in all the context and account you can of each subject like the gospels are designed that way four accounts and witnesses of the same sermons and happenings four accounts of Jesus death and resurrections his miracles and teachings ect the more we hear the more information can shape belief

Yes especially when we just look at the verse out of context and then refuse to accept the co text makes it near impossible without reading large sections especially of Paul’s letters more than any other we need to read king sections of his writings to understand the si for verses place and point in the message he’s preaching almost always he hearkens back to the ot prophets in nearly every point he makes so that there’s a cohesion and rythym and okay between ot and new unlike any other writing I’ve ever read in seven decadesAgree, very few if any verses can be understood correctly out of context of the surrounding verses, the time it was written, the audience to whom it was written and for what purpose.
She sure did in my book lol tanned hide and all. We used to go sometimes with my parents in Alabama and help pick cotton . My mom had a really nice singing voice but it was extremely soft . When we were in the fields there was a sort of acoustic value from all the cotton hanging everywhere . I could always hear hymns really softly and so without ever looking I always knew where she was in those fields sometimes it’s hard to see when your little lol that’s a great memory thoughYup those were the days..she done good!!![]()

I just don't want you to spend time writing to me to no avail
It's really weird. It's like they think if they talk against Israel enough, that God's promises won't come to pass.
In the meantime, all the prophecies are coming to pass, on time and without problems...

Did you say "on time"![]()
See? She even admits she's blind and can't read current events as they unfold from the Bible....

I guess John forgot to seal up the scroll then the way Daniel did.
Your theories are just that theories and not grounded in the holy revelation of God.
It doesn't matter if you refuse to acknowledge God’s work in bringing His promises for Israel to come to pass. He's fulfilling them regardless. That means He's not listening to you.

So no defense, okay. A biblical generation is about 40 years by the way, another problem for newspaper eschatology.
You're not going to accept God's truth anyway. Why should I throw pearls before swine?
Well I see you are a post-tribber like me, but bad idea to call people "swine" just because they interpret prophesy differently.
People have done a terrible job of understanding prophesy throughout history and we should all realistically expect to get things wrong.
Are you capable of sending a private message here? If you can, please do so. I got something I want to talk to you about. She sure did in my book lol tanned hide and all. Matthew 7:6 “Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls before swine. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces.
Also completely bogus.I'd rather believe Anglo-Israelism, that today's english speaking nations are the descendants of Ephraim and Manasseh, than "replacement theory", which is pure anti-semetism.
Everybody really REALLY needs to understand that Luke 21 verses 12 thru 24 do in fact relate to (as a PROPHECY!) 70AD destruction of Jerusalem. This uniquely to LUKE ALONE. The other accounts in Matt 24 and Mark 13 DO NOT carry this information.Never heard of aboutism, but I wouldnt relate 70 AD to Luke21:24
