A person is not a Jew who is one only outwardly, nor is circumcision merely outward and physical. 29 No, a person is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the written code. Romans2:28&29?
That any good?

Agree, so then what and who are talking presently when we have this clear declaration by Paul?

Well, I guess its whether you believe, God, at a time in the future, if he so wishes wants to circumcise the hearts of Israelites en masse:

The Lord your God will circumcise your hearts and the hearts of your descendants, so that you may love him with all your heart and with all your soul, and live. Deut30:6

Presently of course it has not yet happened

Seems to me that you are discarding the correct definition in order to fit in what is actually a fulfilled prophecy from the OT.

But just reading the bible doesn't prove anything does it?
The pharisees of Jesus day knew the then scriptures inside and out, but they didn't understand the message

Yes I would agree, one does have to be able to use other faculties,

Hopefully one day I will be nearer to your level of understanding

Or maybe ……just start to looking into some of those scriptures that are telling you alot you are avoiding

look here

“Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.

Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭43:10-11, 18-19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

I think if you would just consider the scriptures and ask about it in prayer maybe you would realize much more than I ever could …. Who knows ….

“Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles. He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law. Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭42:1, 4, 9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

considering things you hadn’t before isn’t a bad thing if it’s written plainly God bless though

The bible is filled with exhortations to think.

"come let us reason together" being one.
Well Jesus said the Holy Spirit when sent would lead believers into truth, that's good enough for me. I wonder, how many when they study, rely on the Holy Spirit to lead them into truth and how many rely on their academic minds, what do you think?

I guess it comes down to the plain words of the bible, or mans attempts to theologise to overturn them. Im a simple chap, I will stick with the plain words of the bible

Yeah we should pray every time we open the word and then we ponder it we should ask about it

Seems to me you are ignoring much scripture as written. Not much point in playing ping pong is there

Right that is the typical accusation I have heard over and over again.

You know, I actually just follow what Jesus clearly states, the temple will be destroyed, which it was, and the generation He was addressing would see all the other things He lists.

Sound exegesis leaves no other interpretation... "this" is this and "you" is you.

Anyway some people are a bit more agnostic on eschatology so I think that I would be in a better place to discuss with them.
Peace.

You follow what Jesus plainly states in Luke21:24?
