I dont coverse with "christians" who dont believe scripture. Maybe the idea of the virgin birth came from Egypt or one of the several other pagan beliefs. If Moses plagerized the flood story, why not? I guess your one of those who believes anything but scripture. You may go now.

Where did I say that I don’t believe in scripture? And if you don’t converse with people that don’t believe in scripture then how are you sharing the gospel? And being a grown man I will go when I please. I simply made a point that insulting others isn’t called for no matter what the person believes.

When it comes to spiritual or to salvation, God's words never pass away even in our generation today.
By taking the Noah's ark in literal physical, it will become a story that may not happen again then people will become confident about God said and take this promise as literal physical.

And so the Scribes & the Pharisees tought it happened literal physical and they did not see it is happening in their times.
But the Lord Jesus believed it happened spiritually and he saw that the words of God never pass away in his time.

37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

If it did happen literally and physically. I have some questions on how Noah's family together with the animals on how they survived the great deluge.

Such as, I can't imagine an ark in the middle of the great deluge without an engine.

How do Noah's family together with the animals preserve their food and water to drink considering it took 10 month before the water decreased (Gen 8:5)?

Yes, did it happen literally and physically in 40 days or literally and figuratively to signify divine judgment?
(IOW, might/could the story be an OT parable rather than a geological event? Both are fine with me,
but I believe God is not tricky and would not make the world appear to be billions of years old to deceive scientists.)

Those who accept God's word understand the world appears as it does due to the massive eruption of water breaking forth from the fountains of the great deep (Earth's crust) and the windows of the Heavens (canopy) above during the flood. The result of the tremendous amounts of water tearing across the entire globe resulted in different soil layers, fossil locations, massive land formations, canyons, etc.The devastation of the churning and settling waters reshaped the earth's entire, original landscape.

Sadly rather than believe God many seek alternative explanations.

This war has not happened yet but happens in the middle of the 7 years period where Satan is cast to earth not having access to the 1st and 2nd heaven.

The earth becomes the devils holding cell which they deceive all people who do not love the truth which is the strong delusion.

Satan is off his leash represented as the beast ascending out of the bottomless pit and he appears as the antichrist to deceive.

For the last three and one half years the New Age Christ is controlled by the devil.

When the world takes the mark of the beast they will obtain the nature of a devil so salvation is no longer available to the world and God will end sin on earth.

I can't imagine an ark in the middle of a great deluge with an engine. The engine is just taking up space; it's not like they actually had someplace to go.

There's no way to know exactly what they did for food. IIRC, people didn't eat animals until after the flood; so they didn't really need to cook what they were probably eating. They obviously weren't having cruise-ship quality gourmet; but being able to eat for survival for that long isn't implausible... and to me it's a good explanation for why Noah's first order of business after the flood was to start a vineyard and get hammered.

Rofl I get sea sick in a bathtub, I don't know how I would have made it. That and the smell of the animals.

There are only two kerygmatic miracles or miracles that are required to be believed in order to be saved:
God's creation (Rom. 1:20) and Christ's resurrection (1Cor. 15:19).
