no doubt about that one but could Adam have been chosen to bore sin
@posthuman and @cv5 are not saying that Adam was chosen to bear the sins of the many.

Adam was a type/figure of Christ. Not The Christ.

@cv5 has mentioned many times to do the studies.

Adam laid down His life for His bride......A type/figure. A shadow of the reality of the Christ to come....EVERYTHING in His word points to and paints a picture of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Jesus laid down His life for His bride. The Lord Jesus Christ.

Adam And Eve... What really happened?

1st Adam vs. The 2nd Adam. They're more alike than you might think

Adam, Eve & Satan. Do you really think you know this story?

Deep Teaching On Adam & Eve. This is the stuff you're not supposed to hear

Did Adam Blame Eve? It's not what you may have thought

Eve Is Dying Right In Front of Adam. If you were Adam, what would you do?

Satan, Why Did You Pick A Snake? Would Adam have been fooled by a snake?

Why A Tree Of Death? What caused the Tree of Death to be put in the garden of Eden?

Genesis 2 and 3... NOT Seeker Sensitive! That's why most churches don't teach this

but yet cv5 said Adam had great power to resist from eating from the tree of life whilst in his fallen condition ?

Yes indeed, Adam is a contrasting type of Christ. And he proved in the post-fall narrative. Such "sacrificial" love Adam had for Eve -- a love, very much UNLIKE the Last Adam's, that didn't cost "saint" Adam a wooden nickel!

Tell me, Mr. Kroogz, did Adam's "sacrificial love" for Eve fulfill the Law and the Prophets, like Jesus' love did?

is this in the court hearing where satan was found guilty @cv5 is it some scripture I don't know about.

So it was was serpent not a snake, was the serpent a messenger for satan ?
@cv5 scripture more than indicates the serpent was satan because Hebrews declares that's when satan gained the power of death over mankind

but yet cv5 said Adam had great power to resist from eating from the tree of life whilst in his fallen condition ?

Of course, Adam "had great power to resist..." once he was unceremoniously kicked out of the Garden. God empowered Adam when He evicted him!

but yet cv5 said Adam had great power ?
Bible doctrine. Face to face, literally face to face teaching from God.

Based on the integrity of God. God gave Adam and Eve everything they needed to be successful in every circumstance that came their way.....It is our choice to utilize His plan for us or not.

So it was was serpent not a snake, was the serpent a messenger for satan ?
The Hebrew word used here has a few possible meanings.
1. Angel [Satan was a Seraphim, Fallen]
2. Serpent [which has been interpreted as snake]

This is an excellent point. Jesus didn't commit sin to save us.

While there is no doubt that Adam was a type of Christ, beyond being God's representative for mankind, much else is simply speculation.
Only if you don't "get it" monsieur...

Great definition: Grace = Grace!

But just remember one thing, Mr. Wanna-be bible scholar: Since you believe that God is indebted to you, believe also that God's holy nature requires that he be indebted to justice, as well and will give you and everyone else just what you so richly deserve.

God is indebted to His own righteousness wherever He sees it being manifested in a believer by grace.

God is otherwise indebted to us?

That is one of your favorite "projection" points.
It gives you license to attack another...
Because?
You like to attack others!
FLESH! Controls you!

You think like you are in a street gang.
If God is going to really use you?
Your mental attitude has got to go when talking to the civilized.

Or, God will only be able to use you as an example of what should not be.

You apparently have a good mind.
But the Devil has been tricking you into failing to use it righteously.

You need to learn that you can drop insecurities.
If not?
It is a terrible thing to waste a good mind.

Revelation 12 v 8-9 But the dragon was not strong enough, and no longer was any place found in heaven for him and his angels. And the great dragon was hurled down— that ancient serpent called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him. Revelation 20 v 1-2 Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven with the key to the Abyss, holding in his hand a great chain. He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years.

In fact Adam needed no power to resist since he did not have a choice anyways.

The whole idea of him having power to resist eating from the Tree of Life is ridiculous anyways.

I would ask where people are getting such ideas to spin their yarns, but I know...

Liar! Grace is not given to evil people. It's given to the humble; for God detests the proud!

Ps 18:27
27 You save the humble
but bring low those whose eyes are haughty.

NIV

Ps 25:9
9 He guides the humble in what is right
and teaches them his way.

NIV

Ps 76:9
9 When God arose to judgment,
To save all the humble of the earth.

NASB

Ps 101:5b
5b ...Whoever has a haughty look and an arrogant heart
I will not endure.

ESV

Ps 147:6
6 The LORD sustains the humble
but casts the wicked to the ground.

NIV

Ps 149:4
4 For the LORD takes delight in his people;
he crowns the humble with salvation.

NIV

Prov 3:34
34 He mocks proud mockers
but gives grace to the humble .

NIV

Prov 6:16-17
16 There are six things the LORD hates,
seven that are detestable to him:
17 haughty eyes,
a lying tongue,
hands that shed innocent blood,

NIV

Prov 16:5
5 The LORD detests all the proud of heart.
Be sure of this: They will not go unpunished.

NIV

Luke 1:50, 54-55
50 His mercy extends to those who fear him,
from generation to generation...54 He has helped
his servant Israel, remembering to be merciful
55 to Abraham and his descendants forever,
even as he said to our fathers."

NIV

1 Cor 13:4
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
NIV

1 Peter 5:5-7
5 Submit to God, Resist the Devil

Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for

"God resists the proud ,
But gives grace to the humble."

6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, 7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
NKJV

James 4:7
6 But He gives more grace. Therefore He says:

"God resists the proud ,
But gives grace to the humble."

NKJV

That was a lot of wasted words.
Would have been a lot less if you comprehended what was actually said.

Here is one example of God giving drawing grace to those who turned out to be evil after they rejected the drawing of God.
Romans 1:18-23
18 The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and
wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, 19 since what may
be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them.
20 For since the creation of the world, God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power
and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been
made, so that people are without excuse.
21 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him,
but their thinking became futile, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Although they
claimed to be wise, they became fools 23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God
for images made to look like a mortal human being and birds and animals and reptiles.

Now... read on to verse 28!
Get a gander at some of the worst kinds of sinners who at one time were being drawn by the grace of God!

I would encourage you to do the studies. It would give a better perspective on what we are saying.

They are some very serious and thought provoking studies.(y)

We have extraordinary power. Christ in us. And He has given us every instruction necessary in His word to us.

Now imagine, if we had God face to face like Adam and Eve did. They had everything they needed to follow His plan.......Or not.

All throughout scripture, in every scenario, He left none lacking what they needed to make the right choice.

Just remember, Mr. Worthy One, that justice is the flip side to the righteousness coin. You want what you think you so richly deserve? Stay tuned. You'll get it...
