I wanted to start a thread on the current state of our world.
Israel is preparing to hit Iran in a major way—something that could make the current attacks seem small.

America is backing Israel, and the call to Iran is clear: complete surrender.

This isn’t just politics—it’s prophetic.
Events like this put many biblical prophecies in the limelight, especially Ezekiel 38.

Here’s what it says:

"Son of man, set your face against Gog, of the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshek and Tubal..."
Ezek. 38:2

God tells Ezekiel that He will bring Gog and a vast coalition of nations against Israel. Among them?

• Persia (modern Iran)
• Cush
• Put
• Gomer
• Beth Togarmah

“I will put hooks in your jaws and bring you out with your whole army...”
(Ezekiel 38:4)

Is this war about to happen?

Some say Ezekiel 38 takes place during the Tribulation.
But I believe it may actually precede it—and could even be the event that ushers in a temporary world peace.


Here’s why

1 Thessalonians 5:3-6 (KJV):

“For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them... and they shall not escape.”

Could it be that this coming war—perhaps Israel striking Iran—will trigger global cries for peace?

With Saudi Arabia and other Muslim nations warming toward Israel (via the Abraham Accords), a new alliance may emerge.

Out of that, I believe we could see:

• Permission to rebuild the Temple
• The rise of a charismatic world leader
• A false peace

Then sudden destruction.

This fits the pattern Jesus described:

• Wars and rumors of wars
• Birth pangs
• Deception
• Tribulation
  (Matthew 24)

But the Church is called to watch and be ready.

7.
I truly believe the coming of the Lord is near.
The rapture of the Church could happen at any time.
We are not in darkness—this day should not overtake us like a thief (1 Thess. 5:4).

However it happens, I see it will take place as God says and understands. seeing no one understood when Jesus the Son was here to reconcile us all first through his death. Then risen as Won, where new life is a gift to us each once anyone believes God in the finished work of Son for them. That is the victory. Yet no one understood, not even Satan, and got defeated by the risen Jesus Son of God so we can be freed, to be thankful for giving us new life to each that believe God, (Col 1,2). Therefore, whomever believes and does not see God has got them covered and smothered in his love and mercy of Son given us. I say, stand, do not quit, please, go through it and see, and then one will quit sin!
What? I'm not saying "I" got it, I am saying Daddy, PaPa, Father has got it for us each to rest in Hebrews4:9-13

I think that the signs are definitely pointing to the end of this earth age. What most don't realize is that Satan as Antichrist will come to earth, before Jesus, claiming to be him, (II Thes 2:3-4), and will perform great signs and wonders to deceive the people into worshipping him as God, (Rev `13:11-14). Satan will cause a very great falling away from worshipping the true God through his deception and lies.

It is written that God's elect will stand against him to expose him as an imposter with the Holy Spirit speaking through them, (Math 10:16-20). Satan comes first at the 6th trump and Christ doesn't return until the 7th. After the tribulation of Satan's deception, the true Christ will return and tear down all that is evil and rule forever in truth and justice. All those that worshipped Satan thinking he was God will suffer the shame and embarrassment of having done so at Christ's return..

Where do you see the church today, and what do you think it is lacking or missing in terms of being ready?

The current situation with Israel and Iran is very interesting. The policies of it also.
If they put enough pressure on Iran, the people will rise up, and they will take care of the "supreme leader." Which would do more to open up the arrival of the charismatic leader who will bring peace? I also think it is not too late for other nations to get involved. America is still very vulnerable. God doesn't need America to protect Israel. However, I am thankful we are helping them.

It's the same spiritual war -- the Principality of Persia (Iran) at war with the God of Israel. We are simply watching it unfold. For what purpose?

Jer 49:36 And I will bring upon Elam (ancient kingdom within the borders of Modern day Iran) the four winds from the four quarters of heaven. And I will scatter them to all those winds, and there shall be no nation to which those driven out of Elam shall not come.

Jer 49:37 I will terrify Elam before their enemies and before those who seek their life. I will bring disaster upon them, my fierce anger, declares the LORD. I will send the sword after them, until I have consumed them,

For what purpose is God bringing a war? To establish His Kingdom!

Jer 49:38 and I will set my throne in Elam and destroy their king and officials, declares the LORD.

Jer 49:39 “But in the latter days [acharit ha-yamin -- same phrase in Daniel] I will restore the fortunes of Elam, declares the LORD.”

The purposes of the war are for RESTORATION OF IRAN to bring them into the KINGDOM!

God is fulfilling a cycle -- it was Cyrus (Persia) that allowed the Jewish people to RETURN back to Jerusalem ... now the JEWISH PEOPLE are being used by God to allow the Persians to come back to Him and their ancient homeland!

Learn what's happening spiritually -- then your mind will be at ease, understanding God's prophetic plan! Now the question is -- are you actively involved in it? Or just continuing to try and hinder it by purposely not trying to understand what is happening!

The Gog/Magog war isn't until 1000 years after Christ returns. Since the bible clearly states this, what scriptural warrant is there to assume it will occur before he returns?

And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom [is] as the sand of the sea. Revelation 20:7-8​

I am wondering also if this war that is going on is the war that is prophesied in Ezekiel or if it is just a shadow of what is to come.

It's the run-up to the sounding of the first trumpet, which IMO will be the beginning of nuclear war and the destruction of what is called the rules-based order.

I am a bit concerned about this dream I had last night where I saw the u.s. invading the shores of somewhere with these massive ship with missile launcher on them
I am assuming it was iran they invaded but man there were a lot of them like an army of them
hopefully it was just a dream but with what is going on with Israel iran russia and the united states I wouldn't be surprised
