Disagree. It is by the faith OF Christ that we believe IN Christ, and not the reverse, as Gal 2:16 clearly informs us of -
that the receiving of the faith OF Christ is a prerequisite to having true faith IN Christ.
We cannot receive the faith OF Christ until saved, which is when it is imputed, and so it would be impossible for us, on our own,
to produce a true faith IN Christ. Until then, we are all of the "natural man" and unable to correctly comprehend Christ and His salvation in order to produce faith or to believe:
