Do the unredeemed fail to believe and love sin? And morning stretches are good for you. Limbo?Jesus blamed it in unbelief, love of sin. not on them not being redeemed.. I think that is a stretch we all were unredeemed at one point.

Does God work on the unredeemed to draw them to himself? Do some resist the calling, while others look for answers..Do the unredeemed fail to believe and love sin? And morning stretches are good for you. Limbo?

• John 3:16-17 . . For God so lovedthe worldthe elect, that He gave His only begotten Son,

The point is that if all would believe all would be saved, since Christ died for all.The Bible is clear that those whom believe will be those whom are saved.
Let me make this very simple. To interpret "every man" in Heb. 2:9 to mean every person who has ever lived or will ever live you MUST have the context to show it means that. Compare the following with the same wording,
"The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it." (Luke 16:16)
Just as in Heb. 2:9, the context of Luke 16:16 requires it to be restricted by the context. In both verses it refers to believers, NOT everyone who has lived or will ever live. If the meaning is not restricted by the context you have universal salvation and not one goes to hell. We know not every man as Jesus spoke was pressing their way into the kingdom of God!
The most pleasant of mornings to you as well. I'm looking forward to having my every thought examined and interpreted for me. Let me thank you in advance for this most kind and loving of services.Does God work on the unredeemed to draw them to himself? Do some resist the calling, while others look for answers..
Good morning to you. Hope you slept well.
The point is that if all would believe all would be saved, since Christ died for all.
“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. ” (Romans 5:8–10).
He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world” (1 John 2:2)
“The next day he saw Jesus coming to him and said, ‘Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!”” (John 1:29,)
“I am the living bread that came down out of heaven; if anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread also which I will give for the life of the world is My flesh” (John 6:51,)
“And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to Myself” (John 12:32,)
“For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for all, the testimony given at the proper time” (1 Timothy 2:5–6)
For to this end we toil and strive, because we have our hope set on the living God,who is the Savior of all people especially of those who believe. 1 Tim.
Not sure what this is about. I can not interpret for you.The most pleasant of mornings to you as well. I'm looking forward to having my every thought examined and interpreted for me. Let me thank you in advance for this most kind and loving of services.
If God had his way everyone would be saved. But thank the heavens, He is not what satan says, and wants us all on a lease doing his whim.
That lie caused 1/3 of heaven to rebel. That same lie caused the fall of mankind..
God is not just out to save that which was lost. he is out to shut the mouths of the rebellion so their will never be a rebellion again.
There are times when you post things that are really good, then others, like now, when one is shocked that you made such a claim.
You said: "If God had his way everyone would be saved."
WHAT????? What kind of god do you worship?
Do you not believe in the Sovereignty of God? Do you not believe that God is all powerful? Do you not believe that which Scripture says is True?
Isa 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create calamity: I the LORD do all these things.
Isa 45:8 Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the LORD have created it.
Isa 45:9 Woe unto him that strives with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands?
If God had desired or decreed that all would be saved - then all would be saved. Who do you think could stop HIM from carrying out His will?
Isa_46:10 declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done; saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure;
And why do you pit one verse of Scripture against another? You were given Eph. 1:11 and you replied with 2 Pet. 3:9. Do you think that one verse of Scripture can nullify another? Instead of giving a verse of Scripture, why don't you discuss this intelligently? Why not tell everyone what Eph. 1:11 or 1:4 mean in your opinion?
I personally, would love to hear what these verses teach because it is apparent, that you see in them, something different than the obvious teaching.

Wow!
Shocking to see how wide flung is the erroneous teaching of CAlvin & those who hold to it !
Just wow !
Wow you really had to start a post this way????
I worship a God of love
I worship a God who loves his creation so much he was willing to die for them
I worship A God that wil lnot force you to reject him, or force you to believe him.
I worship a God who is not a respector of persons (chose one while ignoring the other)
lol. Yes, God is soverign
He also is a God of perfect Love
He is also a god of perfect justice
All three of these work together to form Gods plan of the ages.
In perfect justice. God has placed all have sinned and fall short. hence all are condemned
In perfect love, He died to offer salvation for all. But he in love will not force you to receive his gift. He wants you to take it. as any loving father would do.
Does God work on the unredeemed to draw them to himself?
Do some resist the calling, while others look for answers.
For crying out loud, Jesus Christ died for everyone. John 3.16-18 makes that emphatically clear. Whoever espouses otherwise is a disrespectful heretic to Christ crucified, dead, buried and Resurrected, and is completely void of any Truth given by the Holy Spirit.
The following Scriptures prove calvinism wrong:That was a really strong statement.
Now that you have called me and others a heretic and devoid of Truth, perhaps you could do something meaningful and give the proper interpretation to my previous post. POST #21.
You hear that boys and girls?
You’re all worthless and weak.
Get in the back of the bus and be quiet.
