Matthew 24:37-39

37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Your highlights prove nothing at all

We can all see noah.

You leave out "when" and try to prove noah is what? A type?

I am the only one here reading what it says

I can do that because i do not need it to say ANYTHING else.

If you want or say the Lord is ruling His Kingdom right now, that's ok with me.

I say the god of this world is ruling this world now, except in the hearts of those washed in the Blood of the Lamb.

When God's plan has served it's purpose, that old serpent is dethroned, and God's Christ will sit on the physical throne of David ruling this world.

It says they washed their robes in the blood.

The blood is "now" blood, not just " past".
It is called repentance.

Jesus talking to christians.. Blood bought believers;

Rev 2
4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.
5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent

Think of it.
" lost their first love"
Ran out of oil.
Jesus even invokes that very dynamic " candlestick".

It actually reads " lampstand"

Interesting and fascinating once we turn over all the "rocks"
I follow you. However, what does it have to do with the foolish virgins. The Bridegroom had already came and shut the door.

The foolish are locked out...Period.. that's the end of that story.

No redemption after that point. They didn't make it.

Your post is FALSEHOOD

Noah and Lot were in great tribulation and had to be rescued from God's Wrath.

Our LORD says: "In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

It is to your benefit to believe the Truth and not add to God's words, which is sin.

Laura, I believe in the dateless past, millions, maybe billions of years ago, I don't know, Lucifer was given the dominion of this world by God. He was the angel who was called "the anointed cherub that covers," he dwelled in the midst of the throne of God.

No doubt the most powerful angelic being of them all. The scripture says he was lifted in pride and rebelled against God, probably wanting to become God and take all that He had created.

When God gave the dominion of this earth to Adam (man), Satan was determined to take it from man, and did by deceiving him. When he did this he legally became the owner of mans soul and the god of this world.

He is still ruling this world today in the hearts of evil men who not God, but what he cannot have is what belongs to God, the redeemed of this earth through the Lamb of God.

Through Christ, His redemptive work on the cross for man, God will take back this world for man, and give it to man as He originally intended for it to be. His Christ who redeemed man from the powers of darkness will have inherited all of creation from God, and He has given it us who have believed in Him. He will sit on His throne as the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, He has won the victory over the darkness of the world and given that victory to us.

i always assumed Satan was a very powerful angel.
my horizon was expanded recently (imho) satan is more then an angel - he was the Glorious Covering Cherub.

i always knew this pertained to satan and it is clearer now then ever before.

“You were the seal of perfection,
Full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.
1You were in Eden, the garden of God;
Every precious stone was your covering:
The sardius, topaz, and diamond,
Beryl, onyx, and jasper,
Sapphire, turquoise, and emerald with gold.
The workmanship of your timbrels and pipes
Was prepared for you on the day you were created.

“You were the anointed cherub who covers;
I established you;
You were on the holy mountain of God;
You walked back and forth in the midst of fiery stones.
You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created,
Till iniquity was found in you.

Satan did not exist in time, Charlie before his rebellion--he was in eternity with the Father. Satan is prince of the 'world', but he is not King. To deny Christ's present kingship is to deny Him--Christ has defeated sin and death at the cross--He said the kingdom of God has come when He walked on the earth and said "My kingdom is not of this world"-I challenge you to look at the opposing side's commentaries and you will see why what you believe is so very wrong--and against Christ.

Christ rules and reigns in the hearts of the believers on this earth and we know He is reigning now as the bible says He sits at the right hand of the Father. All who choose can be cleansed of their sins and receive the gift of eternal life--in this way Satan is 'figuratively' bound.

We disagree, Laura! I have never found it fruitful to argue this subject with anyone, it leads to what Paul warned us of, strife.

I want to be your Brother in Christ, not your enemy!

I completely agree! There's so much going on of that on Christian Chat--I think we should state our positions without anger and without unkind words and with humility--we never know who might be reading these posts--the most important job for a Christian is to proclaim the love of God and the message of Salvation!

This is the pattern from Genesis thru to Revelation.

Here is what you guys get wrong, ALL TIME on this earth is troubles because we live in Satan's Domain. millions killed in wars are trouble see WW2 and WW1, see the Black Plague, see Hitler, see COVID 19, see the many famines and Hurricanes etc. etc.

John 16:33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

What you guys do is ignore everything that proves you are in error, then continue to teach your non-scriptural understandings unto others, so God will rightly judge all men, and every time we teach you the proper understanding, it will be a witness before God that you should have known better.

The RAIN is the beginning of Troubles, not the Flood which came later, they just did not understand that the first few days. Its not tat difficult to understand that it WILL NOT BE as the days of Noah during the 70th week troubles, because men will nit be acting normal as the did before the FLOOD (not before the Rain but before the Flood) men will NOT BE Marring, happy, dancing, partying, eating, etc. etc. during the 70th week troubles/wrath of God, you see, the RAIN wasn't the Wrath the Flood was, that was the GREAT TROUBLES, not the normal troubles we have, so after the Rapture, that is the 70th week troubles, because everyone not Raptured will indeed go through the whole 7 years of troubles, but like those in the rain the first couple of days, they will be oblivious unto what is coming 3.5 years after the Rapture.

ANYONE that says there will be marrying, eating, and all people will be acting normal unto Jesus returns are just not well verse in the scriptures tbh, or either too proud to admit they are in error. Jesus takes the Church out, when I explain that via the 7 Feasts you ignore that fact via what the LAST TRUMP actually is, because YOUR UNDERSTANDING is all important unto you. But God when He judges everyone is going to point out all of the people who told these truths unto everyone who preached this false doctrine, then point to the many people who foolishly said, Ohh, I am going to have to go through the 70th week anyway, I might as well party for a while then repent after I get a little older", then when the Mark of the Beast or Death choice hits them, thy cower and wind up in hell, many because they were told in error, you must go through the tribulation, instead of repent now and avoid this calamity of God's Wrath. The Ark is = to the Church in Heaven, the Troubles are thus only on those who were not in the safe space, our mission on earth is done, Jesus told us that in Matt. 14, when the Gospel is preached unto all the earth, THEN THE END (70th week) will come. The very next verse was about the AoD in Matt. 24:15. Then in Rev. 14 we see that God has sent an Angel to preach the Gospel, there is no Church going forth to preach, the 144,000 are ALL Israel who repented (3-5 million Jews) who are now in the Petra/Bozrah area where God protects them for 1260 days, the Remnant Church is running for their lives, all because......ALL BECAUSE.....they didn't get on the Ark before the Floods Came. The 70th week "Flood" BRINGS Gods Wrath LATER, not on the first day, likewise, the 70th week, once you are in it, you WILL BE ON EARTH for God's Wrath and for the Anti-Christs rule !! Just like the flood, once you were in the rain, the flood as SOON TO COME.

Everyone who teaches in error will be judged by God, especially the proud who were told better, some naive country bumpkin who knew no better, as long as he was faithful, God will understand, but those who have been shown, and still teach this will have to answer unto God. But by all means, your understanding is far more important than the facts, SMH.

Jesus saw these types who were stuck on THEIR DICTRINE, they were called Pharisees who loved men's understandings more than God's understandings.

The rain is NOT the beginning of Trouble - this is ignorance of Scripture

Genesis tells us exactly when the Beginning of Trouble/Tribulation Began.

Genesis tells us it Began in the Garden.

Genesis also tells us when the great tribulation specifically began for Noah and the world.
