Adam didn’t have the law either. So why was he punished?
Are you purposely being disagreeable?

The Law was already clearly stated, "if you eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, you will surely die."

That was the only law given to Man before Moses.

When you’re in the Spirit it is impossible to sin (Galatians 5:16).

I therefore walk in the Spirit to prevent sin from manifesting itself in my conduct. And when I get angry, I do not sin (Ephesians 4:26).

If this sounds outrageous to you, then you are wanting in biblical perception.
Sounds true to me.

What happens when you do sin?

1 John 1:10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

How many sins does it take before losing salvation?

No business in them; meaning, a born again believer doesn’t have the problem with doing the evil he doesn’t want to do as described therein. This is profitable for a person to know so that he is able to examine himself wether or not he is in the flesh or in the Spirit.

Not that one should ignore those scriptures, but learn from them; that once he is born again, he knows he will not suffer the symptoms of the man in the flesh.
I am surmising that Paul is the glaring exception to what you claim. Apparently, he suffered greatly, even claiming that he was the chief among sinners. Three times he prayed for God to remove the thorn in his flesh. God's answer to him was that His grace was sufficient for him. I believe that the thorn in his flesh was, based on his statements, to be a struggle with guilt from a sin problem. Regardless how the nature of the thorn in the flesh was manifested he definitely struggled with guilt from sinning.

Romans 7:14-15
For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am carnal, sold under sin. For what I am doing, I do not understand. For what I will to do, that I do not practice; but what I hate, that I do.

Your Paul is not the Paul of the Bible.

You misrepresent an apostle of the Lord.

What a shame.

No, just stating what the scripture says. You should read his writing starting with Romans to get a better understanding about sin.

1 John 1:10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
This verse is frequently quoted by the folks who are defeated by sin.

All have sinned.

HAVE.

Not CONTINUE to sin.

If we say we have ceased from sin, we confirm his word (1 Peter 4:1).

I understand sin quite well.

I frequently read the Bible (minimally 3 times a year).

How often do you read the entire Bible?

How is that relevant to your premise that a born again believer doesn't have the problem with doing the evil that he doesn't want to do, or will suffer the symptoms of the man in the flesh?

Romans 7:14-15 clearly refutes that premise.

I am currently on my 5th complete reading of the bible. Reading a chapter or two a day it generally takes me 2 years. I then immediately start another reading. I commend you for reading the bible in its entirety frequently.

I have no doubt that you do understand sin quite well but puzzled by your premise that you stated, especially in light of the book of Romans in the passages detailing Paul's own struggle with sin even though it is quite evident that he certainly was a born again believer.

It's no sin to admit you are wrong on this perception. I would consider such an admission to be an integral part of the spiritual growth process.

Let’s keep reading the Bible.

I’ll agree to that.

And let God be true, but every man liar.

Especially those who teach Once Saved Always Saved.

Every time we sin we are defeated it by it.

Yes the goal is to not sin and stay in the will that works in us to both will and do His good pleasure as long as possible .No murmuring.

I'm a firm believe in OSAS but I agree that we should just keep reading the bible. Let's go in peace now. :)

What Law did God gave to Man before Moses? You should at least state that law clearly if you believe there WAS law.
The Law of sin and death, and no, it did not pop into existence at the time of Moses. We see it played out in the Garden.

Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

Romans 1 sheds light on man's accountability from the get-go:

Romans
1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, [even] his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
1:32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

We should be careful how we hear what the Spirits says to the churches. Its his understandings we must abide in.

Rather than "once lost always lost" those who taste the good pleasure of God and fall away and crucify Christ over and over as if one demonstration was not enough. Or "once saved always saved". How often are some confidently saved ?

Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

So you are saying there is already the Law of Moses, during Genesis before Moses existed?

So you disagree the only law in existence then was "if you eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, you will surely die."

What other law was there that was given by God?
