Guojing it doesnt say anywhere in the bible we are justified by the term "faith alone". So I cant believe it. And your assumptions are not actually what I believe. They are "your" view
So can you restate clearly what you believe salvation requires?

So can you restate clearly what you believe salvation requires?
Some salvation passages

Ephesians 2:8-9
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

Titus 3:5
He saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit,

Romans 10:9
Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Matthew 7:21
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

John 6:44
No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day.

John 3:16-18
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.

Acts 2:38
And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit

Mark 16:16
Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.

John 3:36
Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.

John 3:3
Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

Matthew 7:21-23
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’

Hebrews 5:9 New International Version (NIV)
9 and, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him

*Believing, Obeying and doing Gods will are needed for salvation. All stated in those scriptures, there are lots more scriptures.

Okay, so in your view, salvation requires one to:
  • Believe
  • Obey
  • Do God's will
Thanks for clarifying.

Romans 5:1
Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

We are justified by faith and saved by faith but-

James 2:17-18
So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. But someone will say, “You have faith and I have works.” Show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.

1 Timothy 1:19
Holding faith and a good conscience. By rejecting this, some have made shipwreck of their faith,

Romans 1:17
For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.”

James 2:17
So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.

1 Timothy 6:12
Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called and about which you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

John 14:6
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Romans 3:20
For by works of the law no human being will be justified in his sight, since through the law comes knowledge of sin.

John 10:28
I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.

1 John 2:23-29
No one who denies the Son has the Father. Whoever confesses the Son has the Father also. Let what you heard from the beginning abide in you. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, then you too will abide in the Son and in the Father. And this is the promise that he made to us—eternal life. I write these things to you about those who are trying to deceive you. But the anointing that you received from him abides in you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about everything, and is true, and is no lie—just as it has taught you, abide in him. ...

James 1:21
Therefore put away all filthiness and rampant wickedness and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.

1 Peter 1:8-9
Though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory, obtaining the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls.

Titus 2:11
For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people,

Matthew 7:13-14
“Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it.
are few.

are few.
Acts 3:19
Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out,

2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.

Matthew 4:1
From that time Jesus began to preach, saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”

Acts 2:38
And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Matthew 3:8
Bear fruit in keeping with repentance.

Proverbs 28:13
Whoever conceals his transgressions will not prosper, but he who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy.

2 Corinthians 7:10
For godly grief produces a repentance that leads to salvation without regret, whereas worldly grief produces death.

Hebrews 6:1
Therefore let us leave the elementary doctrine of Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God,

Psalm 38:18
I confess my iniquity; I am sorry for my sin.

Isaiah 55:6-7
“Seek the Lord while he may be found; call upon him while he is near; let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, that he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

Jeremiah 26:3
It may be they will listen, and every one turn from his evil way, that I may relent of the disaster that I intend to do to them because of their evil deeds.

Ezekiel 33:11
Say to them, As I live, declares the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live; turn back, turn back from your evil ways, for why will you die, O house of Israel?

*Repentance is needed with forsaking your sins.

-If a man hits his wife and continues doing it. Then says sorry every single time he does it, is he sorry by his actions.

Is sorry saying sorry or is sorry changing to show we are truly sorry.

Some may believe the above example is truly being sorry and some do not.

John 14:15
Jesus Promises the Holy Spirit
15 “If you love me, keep my commands.

Can we be saved without loving God back. Is it all about God loving us?. Or do we need to love him back😁. Is loving God back a salvation issue. Or is it all about us.

Thank God we are saved by grace through faith, not faith plus works.
Well the same can be said for faith minus works, causing a person to be unfruitful and unbeneficial to the kingdom of God and others.

wh
Every human with different views than you spits out vomit, do you act like that to other religions and unbelievers too?. You dont have the ability to see beyond your own ideas. But this is your choice.
Your views are contrary to God’s saving grace through faith. You put stumbling blocks before others. Woah to you!

You’re a works salvationist. I pity you.
Well I think you should probably pity yourself, because thinking you can live any way you want and believe God doesn't care isnt actually a biblical doctrine. Saying one prayer in your life cant save you according to the bible. Following Jesus until death will save you. Dont you think its more pitiful to believe you can behave like an ungodly person and go to heaven. Then why cant an ungodly person come to heaven. Through this eternal security gospel the behavior of a person doesnt matter. Well you can believe that if you want... works salvation is just another label you people like to add to people who disagree with you. I will just tell you that you are promoting a license for immorality. Tell people they are eternally secure so they can sin all they like without consequences.

Saving grace trains us to renounce ungodliness, not continue in it because God is "blind" and your future sins are forgiven.... This is not grace in the bible, but this kind of grace is spoken against in the bible. Its abusing Gods grace to continue doing what he hates. Saying he doesnt care when he does. God actually hates unrighteousness and wicked behaviour and doesnt turn a blind eye to it... the mythical God of eternal security that is only about Love doesnt exist. This God is loving and vengeful. He's not part of the hippy movement.

So, when we lose our salvation, does God literally disown us as His child? He adopts a child into His family, and then disowns them?

If we disown him... its possible to forsake God through our sins. We have free will. We are not puppets being controlled.

Hi Melach sorry something happened to my messages. They joined somehow. I couldn't edit it.

Well the scripture I would use is-

Revelation 2:5 New International Version (NIV)
5 Consider how far you have "fallen"! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place.

Notice the word word "fallen" is also in this scripture.

1 Timothy 4:1
Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will ......depart....... from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons,

*Its possible to depart from the faith as shown above.

And yes "some" were not saved to begin with. But "some" were of the faith.

1 John 2:19 New International Version (NIV)
19 They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us; but their going showed that none of them belonged to us.

*Just because 1 john 2:19 exists we cant pretend 1 Timothy 4:1 Doesnt exist. Then it makes a one sided gospel. And only part truth... according to the bible.

Thanks😁
Timothy 4:1 let's delete you from the bible to suit Eternal security gospel. Let's just make our own gospel and pretend nothing exists in the bible.. only the love parts.

Lets just delete any talk of good works in the bible.... lets make a new bible without mentioning obedience, good works, living holy etc. Does anyone want this bible?..😎 A bible that just contains a few scriptures- about the time of resurrection, being sealed with the holy spirit and nothing separated us from Gods love. Only a bible with 5 scriptures. Deleting repentance, gods wrath, holy living, living like Christ, producing good fruit etc.
