The only reason this nation is blessed by God at all is because of our stand for Israel. Once we turn our back on God's nation--we are finished.
We may be able to at least stop abortion through the conservative Supreme Court that is being put together by Trump, but unfortunately the liberal states will continue to butcher the unborn.
God was not happy with the Israelites when they started offering their babies to Molech, and He brought judgment down upon them. Ours is coming.

Uh, which party FORCED the banks to make unsecured loans to deadbeats that could never pay their mortgages and yet were able to buy 300,00 dollar and up homes that they had to foreclose on? Which black preacher threatened to boycott banks using his rainbow coalition to FORCE banks to make ridiculous financial loans to those that couldn't even keep jobs?
Which party was that?
Part of the communist agenda to destroy America from within. Today they are firmly entrenched in our schools and have been teaching our children for the last 40 years or more to hate the principles and the men that made this country great and solvent.

Greed is a flaw of the human condition not capitalism
It is well documented fact the innovation and progress is always been greater in a capitalist system, as well research shows that because of capitalism extreme poverty worldwide has declined by 80% between 1970 and 2006.
It is also a well documented fact that when the means of production and distribution are under state control, creativity is stifled, people are in not incentivized, the nation remains stagnant and more people remain poor.
It is well documented fact the innovation and progress is always been greater in a capitalist system, as well research shows that because of capitalism extreme poverty worldwide has declined by 80% between 1970 and 2006.
It is also a well documented fact that when the means of production and distribution are under state control, creativity is stifled, people are in not incentivized, the nation remains stagnant and more people remain poor.

When this country was founded the mass majority of the people were Christians and a splinter were secular. Today that is reversed. Almost half of the country go to church. The problem is only a splinter of them hear the gospel message. The 7 mainline protestant denominations are secular. Only the sub denominations and independent churches still preach the gospel message.

It always amazes me how ignorant people can be with our modified capitalism is ranted about with hatred. Our modifications are only allowing monolopies in utilities and special situations. The ignorant do not understand that with true competition there is a quality of product and service competition. Different quality levels compete with the others and the customers pick the winners. Reputation over time produces those who provide the best for a lower price to stay in business. Each quality competes with its equivalent quality product or service. For example look at the automobile industry. Smart cars to Rolls Royce and Lamborghini.

It amazes me people risk death to flee socialist countries because of how poor they are. And how they have no quality of life.
Yet my nation is angry because a socialist liberal did nto get elected.
People love socialism because of its premise. But once they get into it, they realise how unrealistic a dream it is.

And some are more greedy than others - so that is hardly a defense of greedy capitalists.
I think that that "80%" figure you have is skewed - the largest drop is due to China which the greedy captialists have exploited and built up to their benefit while industry in the West suffered.
See this is typical, state control vs capitalism - no middle ground. YOU live in a country with a mix of socialism and regulated banking, and that was the reason Canada didn't suffer like other economies.
You need to understand the difference between invention/entrepreneurship and greedy capitalists.
It's too bad that Obama yielded to pressure prop up the US corpse with bailouts - but then corporate welfare is not socialism is it?
