The End of a Nation

Amos and Hosea have some rather interesting prophecies concerning a country "named chief of the nations, to whom the house of Israel came!"

SAMARIA

Amos 4:1“Hear this word, ye kine of Bashan, that are in the mountain of Samaria, which oppress the poor, which crush the needy, which say to their masters, Bring, and let us drink.”

Amos 4:11-13 “I have overthrown some of you, as God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, and ye were as a firebrand plucked out of the burning: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD. Therefore thus will I do unto thee, O Israel: and because I will do this unto thee, prepare to meet thy God, O Israel. For, lo, he that formeth the mountains, and createth the wind, and declareth unto man what is his thought, that maketh the morning darkness, and treadeth upon the high places of the earth, The LORD, The God of hosts, is his name.”

Amos 6:1 “Woe to them that are at ease in Zion, and trust in the mountain of Samaria, which are named chief of the nations, to whom the house of Israel came!”

Amos 6:8-11 “The Lord GOD hath sworn by himself, saith the LORD the God of hosts, I abhor the excellency of Jacob, and hate his palaces: therefore will I deliver up the city with all that is therein. And it shall come to pass, if there remain ten men in one house, that they shall die.

And a man's uncle shall take him up, and he that burneth him, to bring out the bones out of the house, and shall say unto him that is by the sides of the house, is there yet any with thee? and he shall say, No. Then shall he say, Hold thy tongue: for we may not make mention of the name of the LORD. For, behold, the LORD commandeth, and he will smite the great house with breaches, and the little house with clefts.”

Amos 5:13 “Therefore the prudent shall keep silence in that time; for it is an evil time.”

Take a look in Hosea chapter four and see if that does not look like us.

Hi Deade, Here is a little more on Samaria from Amos 8:14, showing the current residents of Judea in league with the sin of Samaria.

Amos 8:14 They that swear by the sin of Samaria, and say, Thy god, O Dan, liveth; and, The manner of Beersheba liveth; even they shall fall, and never rise up again.

No, it is the socialist children who cannot take care of themselves AND accept the false belief that the fruits of their labour should go to the state AND envy anyone that has more than them so that everything must be redistributed AND is trapped in an infantile notion of fairness.

Yes I would agree, changing the direction of a nation once a group mindset is accepted seems nearly impossible because of herd mentality and group mind think. The left and people in general can no longer be objective, bias, rational, fact based, let alone recognize truth.

I agree there is hope for individuals, some people do "wake up" to the lies thankfully.

Someone once told me the movie "Titanic" was a metaphor for the demise of the United States, sadly now I think it is true and I do believe dark forces have been at work all along to bring about its destruction.

God is clear and men will not get better and a great apostasy will take place and like have said before, one of the following is true....

A. The U.S. is gathered in the ALL grouping of nations gathered against Israel to be judged and destroyed by God
B. The U.S. has already fallen and been destroyed and is no longer a viable nation on this planet

BOTH = a nation that did not repent and get right.............Personally, I believe we have already reached the point of no return.......

If you read Romans and other biblical principles, which I know you do God is clear.....when by law, we (the nation) embraces homosexuality/sexual immorality, the murder of babies in the womb, while ostracizing the bible, the truth and a right to make a Christian stance without being labeled a bigot, bible thumper or religious zealot....we can rightfully conclude that judgment is near.....as a matter of fact God clearly states that embracing men with men and women with women is the proverbial straw that breaks the camel's back and it sets forth a reprobate mindset and to expect nothing but judgment........

As you know, in the bible we find many examples of being a "day late and a dollar short" and even though on a few occasions the people repented, the judgment had already been decreed and was meeted out....

One of the MOST tragic statements found in the word IMV concerning a NATION is....

SHE knew God in truth, but departed. We would have healed her, but she would NOT be healed. <---Directed at the HINDERMOST of the nations, the LADY of the KINGDOMS known for her national symbols of a LADY, EAGLE and WOMAN.......!

Look up the word HINDERMOST <----OF THE NATIONS!

I believe all of the above. I guess I'm still optimistic, however, that God in His Mercy is not quite ready to dim the light of America. I believe in His Judgment and I believe in His Mercy. As for looking up that word, I will do so.

Unfortunately I must disagree. His condemnation has already been pronounced. The Bible states God knew the end from the beginning. Thus when God performed creation he already knew what would be happening today. Thus he set the solar system to have eclipses that has in the past and currently condemn countries. The US had an eclipse cross across it and in 2024 will have an eclipse cross from the northeast to southwest crossing 7 cities named Salem. Thus creating an X on the US.

As I just told DC, I believe all of this and I know America has brought about its own judgment but the hopeful side of me is also believing in God's Mercy. We will have only our own sinful selves to blame.

There are lots of good books and documentaries out there that dig into the greedy capitalists and show the unfairness and manipulation that goes off to their favour.

I don't believe the "hollywood" types are against capitalism per see or wealth but the behind the scenes greedy capitalust manipulation of economies and governments to their advantage.

If you want to see how in the US the greedy capitalists manipulate the political right for their advantage pick up the book "Dark Money" by Jayne Mayer.

For a good look at the world wide greedy capitalists read Canada's Minister of Foreign Affairs Chrystia Freeland's book "Plutocrats: The Rise of the New Global Super-Rich and the Fall of Everyone Else"

The USA is the last true light to shine in the darkness IMHO. That light has become dimmer and dimmer. We probably are living in the last days before God's final judgment but I believe as long as we are a nation, we must cling to the fact of God's mercies.

He will make his last stand by giving his seat, power and authority to the beast who shall rise from the sea.

The problem is when someone speaks out against greedy capitalism and for taxation and social programs the discussion instantly goes to socialism and communism.

There are examples in Europe such as Denmark, Sweden, Finland etc. that are very workable and equitable examples of capitalism, social programs and fair taxation which benefits and maintains a cohesive democracy and a decent living standard.

What we see in the US is an increasing divisiveness brought on by economic inequality that is favoring the greedy capitalists.

I lived through the Conservative pograms in the UK against fair wages for the coal miners and other industries that killed a major portion of the UK's industry, all for ideological reasons and wealth for the greedy capitalists.

They ended up making England a "nation of shopkeepers".

They fought English coal workers with cheap imported coal from communist Poland - this ring a bell you US ites?

Actually, the scripture says that control of the worlds governments to give to whom the devil chooses is given to him.
It is due to mans choice in the garden to believe in the devil, that God gives the devil the right to choose our governments and world leaders (within boundaries).
The Lord will also give (allow) the devil to raise the beast from the sea (the bottomless pit) for his last stand, before the Lord commences to reign on earth.

Luke 4:6 And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.

Another interesting thing about the temptation of Christ by the devil is that the devil showed the Lord all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. When was that moment of time, if not at its height, which will be under the reign of the beast when the whole faithless world will be in love with the beasts system?

That seems to be a pattern repeated by a lot of people here... like you lie regularly about me. Mostly because you read with the intention of responding not listening, so you hear what you want to respond to and not what the person is actually saying. If one takes in the overall gist of all your political postings here, it's easy to tell that you think Trump is the all-American God ordained savior of the U.S. When the truth is he's just one more stepping stone towards the fall of this country that you have predicted. Which is it D? Is this country going to fall or stand with the world against Israel, or is Trump going to save it? You can't have it both ways.
