Technically Bernie Sanders isn't a member of the Democrat Party. The last card up the sleeve to pre-empt the communist takeover in case he gets too far ahead in the primaries.

All I've been doing is explaining socialism... I even said such a system probably wouldn't work in the USA LoL

The problem with the whole socialism debate is that nobody actually knows what "Socialism" is anymore. It's used to describe systems that are barely socialist all the way to systems that are basically communist. Sure you can give a textbook definition but applied socialism is a veritable chameleon. Also, any system that excludes God is bound to fail and fail hard, be it capitialism, socialism or any other system.

P.S. Nuns_n_roses are you a Catholic? If so you probably know that you can't be Catholic and Socialist. (I don't intend to patronise) :)

I feel it, but then you gotta be careful with them whether it be socialism, communism, islam, democracy, any of that stuff. They'll play the pity game and the sympathy game against us.

When they're on the lower hand, they'll peddle any lie to rise up. If they gain the upper hand though they come crushing upon the people.

You're trying to say I support socialism or pedophilia or I'm a liar... I don't even know how you can connect those two things.
 
My main point was that we need to be more open minded as Christians. If we dismiss the beliefs of others or look down on them, we are only amplifying the belief that we are judgmental. Just because someone has a different perspective, it doesn't mean they are attacking us... I believe we need to listen to all sides before jumping to random conclusions.

I could talk about how I'm pro life or all for gun rights... or that I believe God will bless us more as a society if we stand up for His authority... I could talk about how I don't think anyone should come into this country illegally because it's illegal for a reason... However, you would only care if I said those things because it's what YOU believe too. How about instead we try to see that we aren't so different from others? Why don't we stop letting our clouded judgment affect our view of people? That's not the Christian way... and it's exactly why the religious leaders judged Jesus. They didn't like that he thought differently from them and were set in their ways.

Instead we should look at a person's character. I haven't once attacked anybody on this site, yet look at how many people wanted to spit words like "left-winger" or insinuate I'm a liar...
