Here's the true word of God!
Isaiah 1:18 “Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the Lord,“Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool.

That video is pretty tame compared to reality.

To give you loving Christians who want to bring the love of Jesus into the "gay" world some idea of what your up against.
And this is the official sponsored video ... tourism promo.
Most of us that live in medium sized towns of 100,00-500,000 population Have had to drive around city wide 'Q' pride celebrations and many live in towns of over a million.

We're not going to give up just because we are offended. We see it every day. Just like liquor Stores, Strip clubs and palm readers.

This is not our world.

@Waggles Have you not also seen videos of lewd and lasciviousness at Mardi Gras & Carnival'? Drunkenness at Saint patty's day and let's not forget New Years Eve city wide celebrations. We metropolitan city dwellers have learned to look the other way. Fortunately, in heaven, sex will be obsolete.

The word says Be angry but do not sin. Do not let the sun go down on our wrath. I think that you @Waggles are letting your disgust for homosexuality get the better of you. They're here, they're queer and they've always been here. Don't let your disgust get in the way of mercy because they don't understand what we do.>

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8 Love never fails.

But we are to minister to them out of love and kindness. Not anger.
I minister and preach salvation to the lost individually.
I do not go partake of unseemly acts and ceremonies that are profane.
I preach and minister to all sorts of people out in the street, or the bus stop or the supermarket, and so on.
It has nothing to do with anger. That is a red herring.
I do not drink alcohol in a pub to witness to a person who is still bound by their sin. I preach how Jesus and the gospel by the
power of the Holy Spirit can set them free and heal them (and also eternal life as a bonus).

I think that you @Waggles are letting your disgust for homosexuality get the better of you.
I think you and others how chosen to misunderstand and misinterpret what I have written on this thread.
I do not have uncontrollable disgust for homosexuals and their lifestyles.

What I do have as an issue is with Christians who will not challenge the notion of a "gay wedding."
My beef is that there is no such thing as a homosexual or same-sex "wedding."
Marriage and thus the wedding ceremony are God given for men and women to procreate and to have families.
Same-sex unions can do neither and are an abomination, a profanity.
And yet here on CC we have Christians defending such blasphemous weddings as OK and that they would attend and
support the "wedded" same-sex couple.

And it is not only I but plenty of other CC members have posted good scriptures and wisdom as to why RickyZ ought not to go
to his nephew's "wedding" but to no avail.
Suddenly the thread turned into a calling out of alleged close minded, self-righteous bigots who have no love and were condemning
all homosexuals out of proportion to other sinners.
Many times I attempted to to bring the thread back to the OP issue of should I attend my nephew's "wedding" but those who
see no wrong in attending such an abomination reduced the thread to some serious name calling and slander.

I will never attend and support a same-sex union ceremony not because I hate anybody doing such, but because I have
wisdom and discernment as to my walk with the Lord as a Christian with a testimony.
I am happy to preach to any person, gay or not, about Jesus in less offensive venues and places - a shopping mall or in the street.
