Where did He say convict of sin of unbelief. He said the Spirit would come and convict the world of sin ( inward condition of sinfulness) because they don’t believe.
Jesus convicted Paul of persecuting the church
Paul talked to Felix about self control. Why? He should have just talked to Him about unbelief
Why did God give the Law to show us our guilt and need of a Saviour
Etc
Seriously are you serious?
The sin the Holy Spirit will convict us, the world of the sin of unbelief in him.
Not the inward condition of our sins.
You are in the world, one of many billions of people born after Jesus resurrection.
Notice the difference between sin and sins.
John 16:9
9 The world’s sin is that it refuses to believe in me.
It's their convict of the sin of unbelief in him.
Nowhere does JESUS say to convict of the inward condition of sinfulness.
Jesus convicted Paul of his sin of unbelief in him.
When a person repents of the sin of unbelief they also repent of sins.
Carnal sins and non carnal sins.
Then the Holy Spirit works in us to conform us to the image of Jesus.
When we sin we confess.
But given the verses we are talking about there is nothing to support or suggest that it's an inward condition of sinfulness.
