Romans 8 v 5-9Those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh; but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. The mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace, because the mind of the flesh is hostile to God: It does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. Those controlled by the flesh cannot please God. You, however, are controlled not by the flesh, but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ.

Galatians 1:10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

Incorrect, biblically they're a regenerated bastard.

Unsaved Christian who thinks they're saved.
A bastard is a child of unwed parents. It's considered mildly offensive.

A regenerate person is someone who has been born again; that's what "regenerate" literally means.

Someone who is unsaved but who preaches and quotes Scripture is just that. There's no need to throw shade.

Grace is not a license to sin
Who is claiming that grace is a licence to sin? If no one is, then why do you bring it up? There is no condemnation to those in Christ Jesus, at least not from God. Unfortunately some of God's people are less gracious than God.

Decades ago, I knew a young believer who thought that God had given him a gift of telling people their faults. I did not know what I know now, so, I let it slide. After some weeks, he and his girlfriend apologised to the small fellowship we attended. He confessed that they were sleeping together. His attitude was a cover up for his wrongdoing. It was a gutsy confession to make and his critical attitude changed.

I wonder about Christians who are always looking to condemn believers. I wonder how they stack up before God. The Pharisee boasted about his righteousness. The tax collector said, "God, be merciful to me, a sinner". God rejects the Pharisee and forgave the tax collector.

Galatians 1:10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

You can be kind and gracious as you preach, or you can be an abrasive jackdonkey. I recommend the former.

In case you haven't caught on, this is a CHRISTIAN site. Most of the regulars here are already Christians, and many have been such far longer than you. We're familiar with Scripture. If you want to quote Scripture without adding your own comments, perhaps the Daily Bible Verse thread is the perfect place.

Otherwise, as this is a DISCUSSION site, you might attempt to discuss. Why do you post "this" verse? What is it saying to you, what do you think it is saying to others?

'But beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.”

You Clay? You seem to think that you are the Potter.

Sin matters that's why we need God's blood for redemption. Others view it as cannibalism because they think they're not blind, so the sin remained in them.

If you're not born again - you could be into "Social Gospel"

It's a God without wrath brought men without sin into a kingdom without judgement through the ministrations or the work of a Christ without a cross, a church without God's blood and without the Holy Spirit.

That's the "Social Gospel" in a nutshell.
Often I think we have different definitions for terms here like “ born again “ if two people understand that term to mean different things , it would be hard to ever agree . We see things through our own lens often but let’s examine what the Bible says about being “ born again “ there’s only a couple references in scripture particularly saying “ born again “ bit the concept of dying with and being raised up again to a new life having a new heart and spirit new identity as a child of God . So the concept of being “. Born again “ permeates the epistles.

things like this For instance , we see the concept of a new life beginning without sin well Pleasing to god as his accepted child.

“Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened, and the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭3:21-22‬ ‭KJV‬‬

And so in the epistles regarding those baptized into Christ

“For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭3:26-29‬ ‭KJV‬‬

We have to be born in Christ, that’s what it is to be born again . I’m not speaking of baptism but the whole concept throughout the nt like this is part of the transformation

if so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: that ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;

and be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

and that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4:21-24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Hearing and believing the gospel changes how we think about God , about ourselves bout the relationship he made us to have with him about life in this te portal world and life beyond it bout the worlds future to come and eternity when it’s passed away ect

arhat renewing of our mind that comes through hearing Jesus speak to us in the gospel aboit all those things and then accepting the doctrine the apostles taught us like repentance , baptism , growing in grace and knowledge of the lord into obedience becoming followers of Jesus rather then rebellious sinners who use him as a scapegoat and reason we can keep sinning

it’s all about the things Jesus taught in the gospel. It’s important people learn a good place to start is the sermon on the Mount or any of his many recorded sermons and teachings in the gospel or in the kingdom parables also filled with wisdom and truth from the lord

Part of what makes us new is to listen to Jesus word accepting it as the word of God this renews our mind and shapes out thinking about things to his kind and thoughts about things his judgements in other words .

Sin matters that's why we need God's blood for redemption. Others view it as cannibalism because they think they're not blind, so the sin remained in them.

what about his judgements ?

“And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭10:42‬ ‭KJV‬‬

He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.”
‭‭John‬ ‭12:48-50‬ ‭KJV‬‬

what I’m getting at is in the gospel Jesus teaches believers how to deal with our sin . There’s lots of doctrine about it the apostles also teach the same things think how there things spoken by the eternal judge of mankind mean for the sin problems we face in life when we realize we’re not perfect yet .

Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven: give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall be given into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭6:36-38‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7:1-2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The gospel is really centered on mercy but it also doesn’t neglect obedience or condone sinful living but truly there’s lots of doctrine about what to do when we realized we have sinned.

“For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: but if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6:14-15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

We should let these types of things “ renew our mind about God the father , it’s the only begotten , teaching believers the truth about God.

“Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
‭‭John‬ ‭8:31-32‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭12:2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

things like this too should change our mind when we think “ we’ll sin is no big deal “

“I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭13:3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Gods word is meant to change how we think about things and guide us to lasting life if we believe and follow after with a true heart . He already knows we’re gonna struggle and fail at times , he’s made a way for us imperfect sinners to be able to have a perfect life within us by the spirit of Christ . Our part is to listen to his word and take it as the truth and learn from him it’s the way

Your comments is not wrong and pay attention particularly to how a sinners receive Jesus. The Word given by God has to have effect on that person heart. No one and none choose God first. God love us first. This is what Jesus have to say:

John 5:30 I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

For every brother and sister in Christ:

2 Timothy 4:7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

How is one spiritually unborn? Scripture?

Matt. 10:22, “All men will hate you because of me, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.”

Rom. 11:22, “Consider therefore the kindness and sternness of God: sternness to those who fell, but kindness to you, provided that you continue in his kindness. Otherwise, you also will be cut off.”

1Cor. 15:2, “By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.”

Gal. 5:4, “You who are trying to be justified by law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.”

Col. 1:22-23, “But now he has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation—if you continue in your faith, established and firm, not moved from the hope held out in the gospel.”

2Thes. 1:4-5, “Therefore, among God’s churches we boast about your perseverance and faith in all the persecutions and trials you are enduring. All this is evidence that God’s judgment is right, and as a result you will be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are suffering.”

2Tim. 2:12, “If we endure, we will also reign with him. If we disown him, he will also disown us;”

Heb. 3:6&14, “But Christ is faithful as a son over God’s house. And we are his house, if we hold on to our courage and the hope of which we boast… We have come to share in Christ if we hold firmly till the end the confidence we had at first.”

Heb. 6:4-6, “It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age, if they fall away, to be brought back to repentance, because to their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace.” This passage indicates that apostasy may be viewed as total depravity or blasphemy against the HS (MT 12:31).

Heb. 10:26-36, “If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God… So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.”

Jam. 1:12, “Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.”

2Pet. 1:10-11, “Therefore, my brothers, be all the more eager to make your calling and election sure. For if you do these things, you will never fall, and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”

2Pet. 2:20, “If they have escaped the corruption of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and are again entangled in it and overcome, they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning.”

1John 2:24-25, “See that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you. If it does, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father. And this is what he promised us—even eternal life.”

Jude 21, “Keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.”

Rev. 2:10, “Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer. I tell you, the devil will put some of you in prison to test you, and you will suffer persecution for ten days. Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you the crown of life.”
