Measure everything against: This encompasses the full law of God: Love God with all your heart, soul, mind and might and your neighbour as yourself. If in this forum where we sometimes may at face value THINK we disagree, we have to disagree in love to bring truth for one another, and not in self-righteousness, which is sometimes difficult for our prideful selves. Jesus had the full nature of God, and therefor acted in full favour of God's will / law, in accordance with his divine nature. The only "rules" / laws Jesus broke was the man-made ones. Jesus was LOVE FOR GOD AND NEIGHBOUR embodied, and could NEVER BREAK THE DIVINE LAW of love God with your all, and your neighbour as your self (which LAW OF LOVE FOR GOD AND NEIGHBOUR AS THYSELF, encompasses ALL GOD'S LAWS AND COMMANDMENTS).

Healing on the Sabbath days was "good works" and good works were not forbidden. Indeed the priests were commanded to bake the show bread on the Sabbath and replace the loaves from the previous week. There's a lesson right there.

Jesus 2.0 update on the law framework (down to "love God" and "love your neighbor") and people screaming against Him is like people thinking the designer of MS DOS is not allowed to release the new improved Windows 10 to get the same thing done, just better... "Noo!! The old was better! Give it back!! One shouldn't be able to get things done this easily! Now the common and uneducated will be able to use computers! People must know how to use the console and all MS DOS commands like a PROPER coder!"
Yes, Jesus' interpretation of the law, as described in the sermon on the mount is LOVE TO THE POINT, it encompasses the whole of the law and the prophets. Jesus upped the game of LOVE GOD AND THY NEIGHBOUR AS THYSELF to a new level, even to the level of having impure thoughts about your neighbour.
Exactly... But there was less opportunity to appear righteous before men, Jesus directed all into the prayer closet, and that was the biggest problem imo. Their pride simply couldn't take that... They liked to appear knowledgeable and be praised. Should now someone who was a prostitute until yesterday get the same respect as them? No way...

Fun fact: When stuff is put into quotation marks, it implies that what is within the quotation is not to be taken literally as intended understanding.

Also it was not even said "law", but "rules", she would not even put together such a sentence with Jesus, not even sarcastically. She does NOT want to present Jesus as a lawbreaker, but discuss the conflict of Jesus vs the Pharisees. Jesus did break the "norm", in some way.
I am baffled that in spite of this, she was taken in the worst way. Twice.
Why don't be stop presupposing the worst about one another and patiently inquire first if something seems off.

I don't understand what you're trying to say there. The first part of your post is from John 8.
The second paragraph is from John 18:20.
I see you added to your original post and that about the temple. There are two temples in the scripture as pertains to Jesus. The structure built by man, and that temple that is Jesus Christ.
John 2
