Justification through faith (God's gift) for good works (God's preparation):

James' justification doctrine:
Faith (God's gift) by itself, if it does not have works (God's preparation), is dead:

Ok your a Torah observer. Which denies Paul..Thats why you keep quoting only verses before the cross . This is false teaching.

I am telling regenerated people that the natural man, before he has been regenerated, cannot discern the things of the Spirit, 1 Cor 2:14. The natural man would not understand what I was talking about, if I were talking to him.
The natural man cannot hear and understand the spiritual gospel, and if he seeks help for his drug addiction, it would be from man, not God.
As most of Israel does not believe. This shows God's elect, still being elect are not believers yet . So ' election ' has nothing to do with being hand picked to be saved before they existed. You can make yourself Israel all day long , but ' elect ' ALWAYS ' REFERS TO SERVICE AND PURPOSE .

I do not "observe" the Torah / God's commands / the will of the Father, I try to walk in them, as Yeshua ha'Maschiach showed the way, and commanded to follow us and do the same. The Torah is about God's love for us. Is there anything in the Torah that does not profess God's love for us?

The elect is saved by God's grace, through God-given faith, for God-prepared works.
The analogy was used to show ( Just like the prodigal) we can recognise our pigsty and call out to the one to save us from our slop . This is the Gospel appeal to be reconciled. What you have swallowed with passion , is reformed philosophy masquerading as Christianity . Which instead of God saving those who believe turns this into God causing believe in those he saves. Guess what! the son who took his inheritance and wasted it, was always his father's son, even in the pig pen. He recognized his sin and repented to his father. The natural man, who is not God's son, does not have a spiritual conscience to repent of breaking a spiritual law that he cannot understand. Until he has been born again to a spiritual life.
God's elect, when they are born into this world, by natural birth, are born as natural men, until God regenerates them. The elect were saved eternally by Christ's death on the cross, in a covenant relationship, which secured their inheritance of heaven. From the cross to their death, God looks upon the elect as holy, and without blame.
If you do a word search ( try now ) on the words( not doctrines man has given upon words ) Choose , elect, chosen ect EVERY TIME its the Jews or purpose and service. NEVER refers to salvation / conversion ( to be saved ) . NOT ONCE .So you have a faulty starting point EVERY time you use the word ' elect ' . This is the problem with Calminism .
