Jesus said if He did not depart the Holy Ghost would not come. He went on to say He would send the Holy Ghost from the Father after He departed. Acts 2:4 is when this occurred; Peter confirmed it was when, as Jesus promised, He shed forth the Holy Ghost. (Acts 2:32-33)

THE FULFILLMENT OF WHAT JESUS STATED:

If Paul believed the Holy Ghost was automatically received at the point of belief why would he ask the group if they had received the Holy Ghost since they believed? His question indicates He thought the group already believed and there was the possibility that they had not yet received the Holy Ghost.

God can be Near and distant at the same time because God is not controlled by time, space, or matter.

FYI, the empowering of the Holy Spirit is also known as the baptism in the Holy Spirit, and also known as the Baptism of Jesus per John chapter 1:33.
Can and most certainly did happen after one was saved. It is not something that happens as one is saved, but it can happen.
Jesu rose from the dead. The disciples received the Holy Spirit in John 20:22 . Then Jesus told them to wait until they received power to be a witness. They are shown as two distinct things or works of the Holy Spirit. Acts 1:8 Peter and the Apostles received the Holy Spirit. They were told by Jesus to wait until they were empowered from on High. Luke and Acts are two books by the same person. So, if you read the ending of Luke-Acts chapter 1, pick it up from there. If there were the same thing why did they have to wait? What power did they need IF they had all? FYI, the context of "Comforter " is the Holy Spirit. The disciples did not understand this until the resurrection. As John chapter 14 was before the Cross.
The scriptures I noted reveal the truth whether or not a person chooses to accept them. And no worries, I know the Comforter is the Holy Ghost. The scripture I provided reveals that as well:

you explain how the Holy Spirit would come upon Kings, Prophets and Judges and would also depart?
Was it not David who said, "Do not take thy Holy Spirit from me"? Ps 51:11
Was it not Samson that the Spirit of God departed, and HE did not know it? Judges 16:20

that the Comforter would be with you AND in you 14:17
The very Greek translation for "Comforter is paraklētos = summoned, called to one's side or one who comes alongside.
They are not the same thing upon and in context to the Holy Spirit because the bible shows they are different.
The Apostles received the Holy Spirit in John chapter 20 and then waited to receive power, as we see in Acts 2:38 .
Your idea of revealing truth is not going to dismiss the word of God presented in context to the topic. I think it is also wrong for you to suggest that you "revealed the truth." It is wrong if one does not accept it. The word of God speaks the truth, and Jesus is the Truth. And you and I can only tell the truth. You do not reveal the truth. For you to say, such a thing is an error.

As to John 14:17, it actually says, he (the Comforter) dwells with you, meaning at that time, but would be IN them; meaning in the future:

Lastly, those living in the OT could not experience being born again. That reality is only possible for those living after Jesus' death, burial and resurrection.

Why is Philip baptizing this believer in ester because he believes is he practicing some other baptism than what Jesus commanded then to do ?

Would you agree that in the Bible they baptized in water for remission of sins before and after the cross both Jew and gentile ?
It’s hard to I deeersns what people have against baptism for remission of sins it’s a beautiful design of God for remission of sins a simple action of faith based on his word
The enemy's tactic hasn't changed; he's still twisting God's word. Has God said? (Gen. 3:1) Did God really say water baptism in the name of Jesus is for remission of sin? Oh, no. It can't be. How stupid people are to believe being dunked does anything other than get a person wet.
The truth is those with the stain of sin will not enter heaven. Period.

I’m not sure about who will enter the kingdom and who won’t , but I do believe baptism is for repentance and remission of sins in his name and is part of the foundational Christian doctrine we should hear and believe
