There will be a new heaven and a new earth, the Bible says so, but I believe it will be a spiritual realm inhabited by the redeemed, newly resurrected.
The Book of Genesis chapter 3:6 When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it. 7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.Yes. Adam chose to join Eve. Adam became "like" Eve.
The Lord Jesus Christ became "like" us. He came in the "likeness" of sinful flesh ... Romans 8:3-4 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
What an awesome Savior we have!!! Praise God for His eternal purpose which He purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord!!!
Both Eve and Adam were deceived by the serpent because as we read in verse 6, Eve ate of the forbidden fruit and then gave some to Adam who was with her.
It does not state, then Eve sought out Adam and gave some to him and he ate it.
By Adam's disobedience of God's command not to eat of that tree, sin came into the world. The scriptures don't tell us because of Eve , who ate first, with her husband beside her, did sin enter the world.
And in Jesus there was no sin. He appeared as a man in flesh, but there was no sin in him at all.
So it will not be a physical earth? And the city which descends out of heaven from God, the holy Jerusalem, is not a physical city even though it has walls which can be measured, a foundation, gates, and the nations shall walk in it?

God alone dwells in immortality. A&E were not created immortal. Created to BE immortal perhaps, but they had to eat of the Tree of Life to attain that status, and we know they did not

Remember, the Saint Apostle Paul wrote Epistles wherein he was inspired by God to write them, and he wrote his own observations and opinions as well.
Beguiled is synonymous with deception, so perhaps we can agree that Adam was beguiled by Eve to eat. Even though he was there when the serpent spoke and led Eve to eat first.
Adam was to be the head of the wife, so perhaps that is why Paul put the blame on Eve and not Adam. But since through Adam sin entered the world, we can say Adam's disobedience was more costly for the world.

We need something we can relate to and the measurements indicate the eternal city will be massive, but only a fraction of the size of the earth.

Where in Genesis chapter 3 are we told women shall be saved through childbearing?
The Timothy texts, 1st and 2nd, are thought to be written by Paul, but some scholars believe also it may have been authored by an anonymous Christian. Whatever the case , 1st Timothy is Paul's letter to the church. His opinions and instructions throughout.
Paul's observation concerning Eve alone puts Eve responsible for being deceived by the serpent that both Adam and Eve encountered together. Because as we read Paul's opinion of women's place in the church, the man was to be the head of the woman, yet he blamed the woman for being deceived when she was right there with Adam, who Paul believed should have been her head even then.
Adam heard the command of God not to eat of the forbidden fruit first. He was created before Eve.
Adam knew he was wrong to eat of the fruit, but did anyway. Not because Eve deceived him when Adam was there hearing the serpent persuade Eve to eat , and Adam ate anyway. Being first to hear God's command not to.
Paul does not permit a woman to teach. Yet there were women Apostles, that Paul recognized and even praised.
I think this may be one of the causes behind some scholars thinking an anonymous Christian wrote 1st Timothy , perhaps even 2nd.
Paul doesn't permit women to teach or assume authority over a man, but he praises them for being Apostles? Which is a teacher of the word.
And the authority part can be why he accuses Eve of deception of the man, Adam. Because Paul does not respect a woman can have authority over a man. But deception is something else. That's not authority, that's beguilement.

How do we know this? Can you provide chapter / verse which states this?

We don't know that Adam was there when satan approached Eve. If you can show me a verse which specifically states that Adam was with Eve when satan spoke to her, I will fully agree with your statement that he was there with her, that he heard satan and Eve's discussion.Whispered said:

The statement saved in childbearing in 1 Tim 2 refers back to Gen 3:15 and the seed of the woman:
Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
All mankind is saved through Messiah ... not just the "woman".
I agree, humanity is saved through Christ, not childbearing women. That verse in Genesis 3:15 does not affirm or elaborate on the verse in 1st Timothy chapter 2:15
yes completely different than anything as of today, a glorified earth and heaven with glorified beings.
