I was probably watching Gilligan's Island reruns so I might have missed that one.

parts of it haven’t like21 should be considered along side mark 13 and Matthew 24 itnis theee witnesses of that particular sermon Jesus told his disciples about after he left what would happen to them in that generation
If you do look at all three witneses you can see Jesus is talking about an immediate future for Jerusalem and then also a long range future regarding the end of the world and his return
“And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, ( 1 question )when shall these things be? ( Jerusalems destruction )
and ( 2 ) what shall be the sign of thy coming and of the end of the world?”

remember Matthew was actually present during this sermon Luke’s account t is based on eye witnesses and the concensus as well as his own early conversion to Christianity
But Matthew 24 Luke 21 and mark 13 should be studied together carefully because he’s laying out the immediate future of Jerusalem regarding daniels prophecy of its desolation and then the end of the world and his return it’s hard to seperate it out if We only read one account
You can see Jesus is speaking of two times the near and also distant
But we are talking about all things which are written being fulfilled.
First you say all things which are written in Luke 21:22 were fulfilled in 70 ad then you say they are not.
Make up your mind .Are all things written in Luke 21 fulfilled or not?

20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.
21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.

Yes…… when Jesus said that the old testement was all that had been written
context is important the New Testament hadn’t been written or even preached thoroughly yet whenjesus said that did you notice when he first said “ only preach the gospel to osraelNot to gentiles ?
Then after they rejected him he said preach the gospel to all people baotize then all ?
the Old Testament is written through and to exclusively isreel and Jerusalem is important and a main theme of prophecy because of the temple and thier inheritance

they heard about the arrival of Jesus for hundreds of years beforehand we have heard about the return of Jesus for hundreds of years now
There are two testaments one focuses on israel the other on the earth
aim 70 ad Jerusalem was utterly destroyed burned and broken the temple stripped and leveled for its gold in the end the world is going to suffer this same fate

Jesus did not return in the first century. In fact, Jesus will not return until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
As you quoted earlier, I also believe the following is true.

There will be signs in the sun and moon and stars, and on the earth distress among nations, in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and the waves, people fainting from fear and the expectation of the things that are coming upon the world; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. It is not easy for people to see.
Most folk only read Matthew's account, so they are waiting for the temple to be rebuilt.

So you are claiming that everything in the Old testament was fulfilled in 70 ad.You believe the stars of heaven have already fallen to the earth and the heavens have been rolled up like a scroll?
After all,it's in the old testament.
Isaiah 34:4
All the stars in the sky will be dissolved and the heavens rolled up like a scroll; all the starry host will fall like withered leaves from the vine, like shriveled figs from the fig tree.

So you believe it's good for christians like the two witnesses to kill and torment other people.
You believe they are obeying Jesus commands to turn the other cheek and pray for their enemies by tormenting and killing people?
Do you teach other people that it is a christians responsibility to torment men women and children for Jesus?

Yes I believe scripture and it's says the two witnesses kill and torment other people.
That's why they are killed ,because they torment people.
They are not killed for preaching the gospel or doing good.Scripture does not say they do anything good.They kill and torment other people.
