A Martyr is someone who has done as I have stated. I guarantee there were no Reformed Martyrs because they would have claimed God did it all.

You have posted over and over at nauseum that the Gospel has no power for the unbeliever. They can't hear, they can't see.

Even though Cameron states the power is in the Gospel, which is new thing ... he still maintains that God has to give the person "belief."
I always feel like it is straddling the lanes.
I think the decline in this belief system (Thank you God!) are causing them to soften their rhetoric, seem more balanced, to bring in more adherents

You have an idea about what people do based on their statements, yet know nothing of what they actually do. If the gospel is the power of God unto salvation, it behooves every Christian to share the good news. For some reason, you don't believe those who espouse reformed theology actually follow the great commission. You couldn't be more wrong.
You are equally wrong. I have always espoused the gospel as God's means of salvation. Trying to characterize my beliefs as new is disingenuous on your part, but typical of your modus operandi.
Sorry. THIS is what we are actually doing on this forum. And If I was an unbeliever, I would be defeated and convinced that I have no opportunity to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ for my salvation from the things you share.

Surely you understand the difference between sharing the gospel and deliberating over doctrine. Are you saying that this thread is primarily concerned to evangelize the lost? Then why address me at all? Speak to that audience.
But that isn't what you are doing. You are employing some biblical texts and some your opinions in order to persuade others who already believe to your point of view.
Surely you understand that this is about the Gospel! Babes in Christ these days can't get past it.

And yet scripture makes no qualification of granting hearing.... so in essence you deny its power.

You're always making stuff up on the fly, aren't you? God didn't save me until I was well into my midlife. So what would you know what I believed about God? For your info, I was hardcore agnostic (but functionally I lived most of my life as though there was no God!), so I never gave Him a second thought after I graduated high school.
