There is nothing supporting a mark or other items of judgement in the gt as having already happened.

Since the rapture is part of esceschatol that mesns there are mulmultiple Biblical views of it. You can argue and sprewtify and not know wherein!!! My mother was a nurse and a doctor would get angry and say that. It fits very well in this discussion.

Ironic, it seems you know more about Jim Jones and what he taught and what he did, more than i do. When you first mentioned Jim Jones, i seriously had no clue who you were talking about. i don't watch the news never have, never do, to depressing. How did he convince them to go with him, what did he teach, why Guyana? What meaning of kool-aid?

That is horrible. i thank Jesus Christ that i have 0 followers, and even though people in the past wanted to follow me where ever i went, i forbad them. i am not a leader, nor do i have any desire whatsoever to be one. i am a messenger from God. He told me many things what is going to happen in the future, how it is going to happen and in what order things are going to happen. He has told me to tell this generation those things that He told me to tell. That is what i do, Not a leader, not having a cult, not have a group of people around me. i teach you what He has told me, this i do, and it pleases Him.
You do error not knowing or understanding Scriptures. Many in the Bible have pronounced that God told them something, and they were not proven false, as you say in your above statement.
What is that to me, if you don't believe God speaks to people like He has always done? Where in all of Scriptures does it teach that God stops speaking to people?

Totally understandable. In this generation if a person claims to have had conversations with God, well they must be mental right? They have to be right? Because God does not speak any more to anybody at all, right?

An original definition for sin was an arrow missing its mark. People fixing their eyes on the wrong target is missing the mark (aka sin).

The answer as to why God's people should be spared, is because it is the direct wrath of God via the seals, trumpets and bowl judgments that will be unleashed on a Christ rejecting world and to fulfill the last seven years of the seventy seven year periods that was decreed upon Israel and Jerusalem.
Believers in Christ have been credited with the righteousness of Christ and have been reconciled to God. Therefore, the wrath of God no longer rests upon those who are in Christ. Since what is coming is the direct wrath of God, then the church must be gathered prior to the beginning of God's wrath which is the opening of the first seal.
Furthermore, the gathering of the church (rapture) is not adding to Revelation and that because Rev.4:1-2 is a prophetic allusion to that event and which why the word "Ekklesia" translated as "church" is never seen from that time forward. The next time we see the word "church" is in Rev.22:16 which is outside of the narrative of God's wrath.

Three major things happen at the coming of the Lord:
- First, the Resurrection of the dead in Christ.
- Second, the Rapture.
- Third, the destruction of the antichrist; the false messiah, the man of sin, the lawless one.
First like I keep telling others, keep it short if you want people to read it!! I didn't bother to go past the early part.
Jim Jones was a preacher that got people to believe he had a special message from God. He had the church he was preaching in so committed to him they followed him to Guyana. There he had a huge batch of kool-aid laced with poison made up and everyone drank it including himself. It took over a week to get the bodies out of there and then finally buried. His autopsy showed he had a terminal illness.
I reject you because of the fact that you think you know the end times. God sent an angel to tell you. You ignore and reject the 4 Biblical views of eschatology that theologians for centuries have worked on trying to discern which one if any is the one that is correct. Your attitude is "I'm right and the world is wrong!"
