BREAKING: Terror Threats ELIMINATED By
Trained CIVILIAN Israeli Defense Forces | TBN Israel

I wish we had this in the US as well.

🥳

I really like the idea of every man or woman who wishes to be trained to defend their families.
I would go further that it should include unarmed as well as improvised weapons proficiency.

Setting aside the issues of war like the police state. American culture has been better under the biblical rights somewhat protected and recognized by our federal and state constitutions. We already have the rights to keep and bear arms in many states. It's just that most people do not take it seriously to exercise them. That's not just firearms, but all weapons. Most attacks that occur here don't require lethal force for self defense, but it's best to get training in the various levels of force.

Sorry I'm responding with an entire book chapter. ☕😄📕
You know that's my area of interest.

I sure appreciate your video and listened closely to it. Hopefully we will not experience war on our soil. If we do, hopefully the good guys and gals will become proficient as those featured in the video. There were a number of good points.

What was your favorite part about it?

Hi Point AR-Pistol
5.56 mm chamber

High point is manufacturing AR pistols now? Hopefully the 🦇Fs won't keep changing their policies and turning lawful owners into criminals. I never wanted one of those, but of course it doesn't mean others shouldn't be able to get one...or a dozen.

Mark at Guns, Family, Guns shared the highest selling firearm in the 1 st quarter of 2025 in the U, S, is the Taurus G3C.
Looks like people are responding to this truth?

I'm really surprised to hear that Taurus is selling that many. He likes the trigger from what I just listened on his review.
It's like with most trade-offs.
Does someone want a good trigger or a more compact package? He said it's more like a DA pull.

That’s the key word. Trained civilians.

Armed civilians in general are another thing.

My point is that if an armed civilian is not trained to respond to a threat immediately and is willing to get lethal if necessary, it’s no point in that civilian being armed. He (or she) will probably end up being killed by his (or hers) own weapon.

Respond and walk the line. If you can’t, stay out of trouble.

On our soil? Russia nor China possess the ability to put troops on our soil and reinforce them in sustained combat. You need water,food,11-14 inches of soil over your head and iodine pills. After the big bang a plan to get out of ground zero is your only hope. Think hunting rifle in the aftermath if you can get into the south and find anything left to hunt. Russia and China have no chance of winning a war with the US short of nukes so get away from the cities, bases ect. I would say Mexico is the best bet but they might say no, stay on the other side of the border wall.

I have the predecessor to that handgun... the PT111 G2.... it has been flawless in operation. I don't say that lightly.... I mean it has NEVER failed to feed and fire. Not once.
It's getting a little long in the tooth, having had probably over 2000 rounds through it.... that's a bunch, for me.... I know that others shoot a LOT more than I do in a year's time, but this one was my only 9mm auto for a few years.
It has mostly lived on the top of my dresser for the past several years, because I got other autos that I prefer.... but this one was the first higher capacity small auto for a while. Most compact 9's only held 7 or 8 rounds, and this one came along, with a capacity of 12 or 13.... don't remember for sure.
The accuracy is not "target grade", but it's not supposed to be a target firearm. It's much more accurate than necessary for any use that it was intended for.

I got to shoot some handloads out of my Ruger American Hunter today. I was pretty pleased with it. I think I will be able to tweak this bullet weight just a tad, but it really doesn't need it.... sub MOA at 100 is ok with me.
I will likely also work up some loads with the 165-168g bullets, as well...

This target had three different incremental powder charges....

You make good points, but I don't think the Mexican gt allows firearms unless they are cartel members. Outside of tourist areas Americans are high risk from what I've been told.

I'm sure sizable armies of sleepers are already in America judging from news videos, 4 years of surging the border, experts on border security and immigration. The Chinese military have bought large tracts of strategic land near bases. Going back as far as the 90s Russia was given closed coastal naval bases. I remember a little history about Gorbachev's gift of one on the West Coast.

I've heard people proudly quote the Japanese Admiral Yamamoto
"You cannot invade the mainland United States. There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass"
There's some truth to this statement, however you pointed out one potential possibility that would neutralize Americans.
I'm no expert here, but looked into it on and off since My 7th grade history teacher taught on the subject.

There are so many risks from enemies within and without that the only reason there's no hot war in our land is the power and grace of God. More than anything, people must get saved, grow and stay on speaking terms with The Lord..

So what did you think of @2ndTimeIsTheCharm 's video?

Thanks for the great video of Israeli civilians. I don't remember if it said, but it used to be the law that every man was required to enlist/ drafted into the military. I think that's where most get their training with handguns and counter terrorism.

Here's a video you might like.
It's the world's fastest video camera recording bullets shot in slow motion. This is so clear it's hard to believe!

Not sure who all in the form knew my father or if he ever spoke much of it but he was a CFDA member. I tried to out shoot him once shooting at grasshopper's at 40-50 foot and lost. He tried his best to teach us boy's how he drew but I never got as good as he was. I could never draw as fast as him and if I aimed at a grasshopper's head hit it's butt but most times in a few inches. I think his fastest time was 13/1000th per second at competition but he got slower the older he got. His holster was lined with rawhide and has a deflector made of RH that would deflect the round outward if it went bad in the holster(wax in competition, .45 in real world). The trick he tried to teach us was to just point your finger at something because you did that your whole life without thinking about it. When you point your finger at something you also point your thumb at it without realizing you do it. He thumbed the hammer(spun the cylinder to battery)as he drew but while it was coming out of the holster. Then your thumb goes right onto the part of the frame that covers the back of the cylinder and so your thumb is then in line with the barrel and what you point your thumb at you hit. He could hit a grasshopper in the head like that so I cant imagine anyone in the video outdrawing him or some of the others I watched shoot in competition against him growing up. Maybe I'm not the best to ask for an opinion on this but training is the key.

My favorite part was when it said that whenever the public heard gunshots, they are one of the very few countries where citizens run TOWARD the shoot instead of running away, and then it was demonstrated by real footage of most of the citizens in the video automatically grabbing their guns or anything they can use as a weapon and gave chase to stop a terrorist stabber.

They said that is why terrorist attempts only last 30 to 90 SECONDS, because the citizens are taught to disarm terrorists until the proper authorities can take them away!

Can you imagine if US citizens had that kind of training every month? All these shootings here wouldn't last for hours, but SECONDS and could prevent so many innocent lives from being taken from them.

Man, I can't help but admire Israeli citizens, BOTH men and women train for it! They are so badass! 😍

I love those special memories about our Dads.
Shooting heads off of grasshoppers is clear up on the level of "shooting flies on the fence out yonder"! Wish I could find that Beverly Hillbilly scene. One of my favorites!

I can identify with what you're talking about about. My Dad was a Master Gunner in the army. I really wish I could go back and appreciate that as much as I should have as a kid. He had a lot more to pass along to me. Those were good times.

I'm trying to get exactly what you are saying he did with point shooting a revolver. If I understand right, instead of gripping the grip with the thumb traditionally, he pressed the tip of his thumb just below the hammer?

They sure are! That's heroic when strangers are risking their own lives to save others like that.

An American Orthodox Jew I got to know started Jews For the Preservation of Firearms Ownership. The last time we'd talked, one of the first questions he asked was "What are you doing for Bill of Rights Day?"
He had the goal of trying to get his fellow American Jews to get out of the victim mentality and refuse to allow another Holocaust to occur. JPFO

It looks like the culture in Israel is much different than the other parts of the world, including the US. I'm guessing it comes with all of the conflicts they have. Do you know?

I'm currently reading a book on the Yom Kippur War (1973) and the diaspora that God punished them with for nearly 2,000 years really made them very protective over the homeland God had given them and had gotten back in 1948.

Back in the 70's and 80's, Israel as a whole had the mindset that if it looked like they might lose their land, as a totally last resort, that they might exert their Sampson Option. As you recall from the Bible, Sampson brought the roof and house down on himself and the Philistines who were throwing a party by pulling down the columns he was chained to. That resulted in him killing more Philistines in his death than when he was alive. So the Israeli mindset back then was if they saw that they were about to lose their land, that they would go totally nuclear on their enemies because what is the point of them living if they lost their land AGAIN? They were deadly serious about this which is why Syria got scared (rightfully) and backed down even though they were so close to conquering the part of Israel they were invading.

I'm not sure about nowadays whether they still have that Sampson Option mindset. But I think they are learning their lesson from making the crucial mistake of letting the terrorists occupy Gaza and Judea/Samaria (West Bank) beginning in the 2000s. I remember thinking, "Hmmm....didn't God say NOT to divide the land?" I think Israel will regret this....

And they are. Now they have to fight hard to take Gaza back.

I'm annoyed with Pres. Trump that he's trying to keep Israel from annexing Judea/Samaria. I really hope Israel won't listen to him and turn to God instead to help them take that area back.

But anyway, I think they just don't want to lose their land again which is why they are so aggressive at protecting it. I think Americans (especially Christians) should have this mindset as well. We're not appreciative enough to God of the freedom and generosity God gave us in this land. We don't know how good we have it until it is all taken away from us if we keep being so soft and lax about it.

It's similar to pointing your index finger straight down a shotgun barrel or holding a 30.30 with your finger laying between the magazine tube and the barrel but instead with the hammer at battery your thumb is right to the left of the hammer on the rounded part covering the cylinder. That's if your right handed,if lefty it's the other side. On a more modern revolver, S&W 19,Taurus 66,85 ect. the cylinder release is in that same exact spot so the recoil will open the cylinder. The CFDA (Cowboy Fast Draw Association) only uses Single action revolvers so their is no cylinder release in that spot on the revolver. I would not try it with my model 66 but only with older single actions.

i tried that on a couple of my single actions and I can already tell that it isn't safe for me to shoot thumb forward. That'd be asking for a sore finger, lol. You know what? I've never owned a 357 mag. I've owned 38's but no 3 5 7's. You see what happened to me is my dad was into guns and loading his own ammo and casting his own bullets from lead. I really liked that 6" K-38 that he owned, and then when Dirty Harry came out my dad had the first model 29 on the block! I liked shooting that 44 mag too, it was fun. But when I grew up a little and wanted my own 44 mag, I couldn't afford a S&W. So I had to scout around and find a used ruger redhawk. The underdog back then, lol! I learned to love that gun! I also have a Ruger SBH. Also used and it came to me with the finish mostly gone. But it shoot real good. it loves fat heavy bullets.

1) young: In the Navy, shot a rifle in target practice once, the had to dismantle, clean it, and uh-huh, had to re - assemble it.

2) middle-age: Went on a men's retreat in the Rockies and shot a 38 (I think) at a tree branch - couldn't hear very well for two or three days after that...

3) OLD-age: Now, I just simply 'train' (for spiritual warfare) With A Sword that is Way Better than any gun! 😇

We used to have an organization of guys called Guardian Angels and the wore the same t-shirts and all had on red berets and they used to walk single file up the street in crime areas. I don't know if they're still around or not? I think they caught a few bad guys. They didn't carry weapons back then, I bet they do by now!

I.ve seen news reports that showed armed security at Israeli schools and I thought that's what we need in the US. They've been getting into schools with their drag queen shows and weird gender training, those guys would have never got to see the inside of a classroom if our schools were armed. They'd be escorted out covered from two angles and trespassed.
