Yeah I believe that is referred to as a catch-22That's part of the problem with the proposed Oregon measure that's up for vote.
They want people to demonstrate they can safely use a gun via classes, BEFORE they can own the gun but they aren't offering such classes or you have to bring your own gun to the class, for practice. How can one prove competency if we can't buy or borrow a gun for a class that may or may not ever be offered??
This measure will make it impossible to ever purchase a gun with that runaround.
At least to get a driver's license they provide classes and vehicles for practice!
That looks like a real fun event!
That's great. I've known a lot of guys who worked in corrections. My brother was one and a few pastors too. Others were friends.Indeed! God has been very good to us.
I got involved in the shooting sports when I worked in Corrections, 40 hours a week with the dregs of humanity, you need to have good citizens to fellowship with, the folks in the shooting sports are good, solid, citizens working their jobs, raising the kiddos, paying the taxes and giving of themselves for others.
Those falling block actions have always appealed to me.
Here is another company that makes then-

Praise the Lord!Just saw this from God, Family and Guns about the FK Brno pistol.
He speaks very highly of it and the cartridge it uses.
Not only that but, at least here in Oregon, if you open carry and accidentally brush your hand against your holstered gun and someone is "offended" that you're carrying, they can have you arrested for "threatening" them.If you're going to carry, concealed carry is the way to go. Open carry is a flashing neon sign saying SHOOT ME FIRST
Maybe. Or, maybe the gun was not loaded.I could have accidentally killed someone that day
I've never even fired a pistol, but even I know that.If you're going to carry, concealed carry is the way to go. Open carry is a flashing neon sign saying SHOOT ME FIRST
