Me: "So the Mahdi shows up and all of Islam is to rise up together and kill all Christians and Jews?"
Muslim: "Yes"
Me: "And the plan is just to keep silent and breed and convert as many until then?"
Muslim: "Yes, it is called cultural Jihad. We are to breed the infidel out and then kill the rest."
Me: "And the Mahdi is supposed to appear soon, right?"
Muslim: "Yes. You are righteous kafir."
Me: "What is that?"
Muslim: "You are righteous because you know the plan of Allah, but a kafir because you do not believe Allah to be god."
Me: "Do all Muslims know about this?"
Muslim: "Yes. It is written in the Qur'an. They do not speak of it in many places. The Qur'an tells us that is OK to lie and deceive in order to fulfill the will of Allah. <proceeds to quote chapter and verse>"
Me: "So Muslim people that are nice to Christians would have to kill them when the Mahdi appears?"
Muslim: "Yes. They only pretend to be friends if they are true servants of Allah. They must be willing to sacrifice their own lives for Allah."
Me: "OK. Thanks for your time."
Muslim: "No problem friend."
Me: <thinking... "Friend? After what you just told me? Ironic.">

stream of consciousness...my thoughts...reading through these last few posts...I don't want to "reply" to them as this is not supposed to be "that" kind of thread. (not judging those who have,just trying to respect the originator of this threads wishes)
I am so annoyed by the whole Muslim vs Christian stuff...I mean I seriously want to punch something. I have "friends" who are Muslim...have no idea how much they believe in it or practice it...I can say the same about Christian "friends" I have.
I find it so hard to believe anything I read or hear coming from any type of news source secular or christian based. CBN...aren't they the channel with all the people like Benny Hinn & Pat Robertson? I feel like it's all slanted..like watching FOX news...too far Republican/Conservative then you have NBC too far Democrat/Liberal...and all of them twist stories,make up utter nonsense to confuse,distract & plant seeds of fear into people.
This is how I feel.
This is what I,in my heart believe.
I don't trust the christians or the muslims...because I have seen & read things over the course of history that has made both sides equally as to blame...equally to have made the Most High God portrayed as a joke or some evil deity.
Frankly I am just sick of it all!
Sick of bombings...sick of the jews are better than so & so...sick of these insane world leaders that lie & hurt their very own people..sick of americans know it all & how righteous a country we are...sick of the arabs & their hate of the jews,who are basically all in the same family when blood comes down to it...it's like white people hating black people. FOOLISH!
Someone was talking about the rapture in the bible discussion forum...it's getting to the point where I really hope God just comes back soon & kicks everyone's rump!
It makes me sad to think of what mankind is/has such potential to be..even myself as a "christian"...saved by God's grace & mercy,by the shedding of his son's blood on the cross...THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE made for me...and I have done what? What have I done with this life??????????????????????????????????????????
What will I have to show?
The world in my eyes is such a beautiful tragedy. Ripe with decay.
Sometimes that's how I feel inside when I think about all this fighting & war.
Deep down if I am honest...I hate being associated with the words "born-again" or "christianity"...
I just want to be known as someone who is a child of God that loves Jesus..nothing else.
Take the labels & all the stupid cliche's & bury them six feet under.
*sigh* I should be making phone calls now.

I interrupt this program to bring you...

I was thinking the other day about how much Wal-Mart torques my turkey, what with all their junk products and crazy people driving the "I can't or don't want to walk" carts and trying to run you over.

I might enjoy shopping there if they would replace the greeters with cuddly koalas.

And install revolving doors.

And give out free tea & crumpets.

Ok, no, nothing is going to improve Wal-Mart.

On a lighter note...um...B sharp. Yeah, I'ma go be less...whatever I'm being...somewhere else.

I hate when the bottom of the cupcake/muffin gets stuck to the paper cup, causing you to dig out the cakey goodness and making a mess everywhere! I did discover that there is a method that saves me from making a massive mess: peeling off the paper cup first before beginning to eat the top. I am not sure why, but it seems to stay altogether and not crumble. I also have noticed that I eat cupcakes much how I would eat an apple.
 
I am frustrated today. I wish my Irish Setter Goofy, I had as a pet growing up was still alive, he would chew this cast off my leg for me. He ate everything he could. He ate the leg of a wooden picnic table once, he also ate all of my Halloween candy, the wrappers and the bag. When I watch Marley and me I think of Goofy.

Awww sorry for your loss Fenner. :( I believe that pets stick around for some time after they pass away.
