LOL...awwww kisses boo boo. Don't take it personal...it's actually a line from Jurassic Park that I always found funny & desperately look for ways to incorporate into everyday conversation without much success.LOL
 
So I wake up from this really stressful dream this morning.
I was in my old house. My ex was still there.
For some reason I had a box of sugar I needed to get open & it had a bit of tape sealing it.
I broke the seal & as I did,some alarm or the phone rang I think & it was Whoopi Goldberg on the other end.
Well in my haste of trying to get to the phone so that the noise wouldn't wake up the wife,I must have been holding the box of sugar at a strange angle & I realized it had spilled out,
leaving a trail from the pantry all the way to where I was.
Of course I was beyond irritated. It was early in the morning & I had to vacuum this up before any ants got wind of this,but how to do it quietly without waking the wife????
I remember using all these different vacuums,all it did was blow it around not sucking up anything,she ends up waking up..I knew she was upset..I was growing more frustrated as well...this went on for what seemed hours...finally I woke up all stressed out.
What in the world kind of a dream is that?
LOL we didn't even use sugar from a box. Why was the vacuum cleaner I now own in the dream but not the one we owned together?
More importantly...why the heck was Whoopi Goldberg calling me so early in the morning & how the heck did she get my phone number???
They say if you eat before bedtime you have strange dreams...I never eat before bedtime. Maybe I should start!
Maybe I am like Bizzaro...everything is opposite for me.
 
I'm hungry. Times like this a wife sure would come in handy...

We are celebrating my cat's BD today. By celebrating I mean-I'm going to a concert tonight->but he stays home. lol
 
Ugh, so it's Wednesday, mid-week, another day of work and class. I get ready reluctantly but hopefully it will be a good day. Just hoping for no drama and to be able to get everything I need done... done. (sighs)
 
some important questions I want to lay out and look at...
They came to me while lying in bed looking at my ceiling talking to God..

1. I am bringing something to pass, can any of you stop it?
2. Why are you trying?
3. you being clothed in my righteousness why are you running after sin?
4. are you a big G or a little g? then do as " I have told you" and prepare ..
5. I will give no man my glory , why do you keep trying to take my glory away?
6. Have you forgotten , it is "Me"who will harvest? Stop trying to crack seeds that are not ready..
 
Ugh... <sheathes his sword> Don't worry... no ears were harmed. Interesting. I never thought about the significance of what Peter did that day. He cut off the ear. What does one hear with? The ear. How do we receive faith? By hearing. Lord, please heal any ears I may have ever cut off so that they might hear you. Forgive me for those times that I think that you need me to intervene on your behalf. How foolish of a man am I, in those times, to think that you are not able to deliver up your people by your own hand?
Why am I sometimes so quick to unsheathe my sword? Is it not written to be slow to speak? Lord, do not let my anger come quickly upon a people. Let me quickly hear the words that they speak. Let me be patient in you to receive your words upon my tongue. Let me wait upon you for those times that your anger is to come upon me, that it would not be my will, but your will.
Comfort me, oh Lord, let me not be filled with sorrow for those that suffer so greatly upon the earth. Let me not be filled with wrath towards those that deny them.
I trust in you, Lord. That even those times that I fail; that you are able to take that these things and work them to your glory. Like with Peter, that through Peter's failure the Roman soldier was able to see your love and forgiveness manifested.

As I sit here watching the rain pour down, pounding sheets of rain, I wonder what it would have been like to live before Noah's time when it did not rain. I would have missed being able to hear that soothing sound, to go puddle jumping, or to just stand out in the rain and soak it in after a long drought. Though, I suppose they wouldn't have missed what they never had known before.

The last time I stood outside in the rain after a drought, I was in South Dakota, standing outside my apartment. I got to meet my neighbors becuase of that, and I talked with them for a good hour. They were Native American. At the end (though maybe they were a bit sentimental because they had been drinking), the woman gave me a hug and thanked me for talking to them, because "most people won't because we're Native American." That broke my heart. People are people, people! That this woman and two men were surprised that I did something as simple as talk to them is just a sad reflection on our world.

That went off on a tangent...I was talking about rain. But hey, this is the "Streams of Thoughts" thread so I'll just go with it. ;) My original point was going to be that I wonder how Noah and his family felt, seeing rain, this water falling from the sky that they had never seen before. What awe and amazement I'm sure they felt. I think that's why God brings us through certain things in our life: to show us sides of Him we had never seen before.
 
We are under tornado watches with the possibility of baseball size hail here right now.. This kind of weather energizes me!!!!
I am always running onto it while others are running from it... The atmosphere is absolutely "alive" it's like a living breathing thing has entered a room.. eyes roaming about upon the earth ..
Its incredible how fast a storm will move .. I've been around tornadoes so much I'm a little embarrassed to say that I now chase and follow them ... the air is like soup .. Sort of Greenish in tint .. Looks like winter( skies are precarious looking) feels like summer .... It's interesting what the inflow from these massive wonders is like.. being close to one it will literally suck the air out of your lungs, while feeling like it can pull your skin off .. I love it !!!!!! Who knew being locked out in thunderstorms in foster care as a child, would only grow into a hunger. chasing after the very thing Wich tried to terrify me ..

I'm awake. Groggy. It must be Wednesday. Didn't sleep too well. Had another nightmare but not nearly as bad as the giant black cyclops rising out of the ocean the other night. Still wondering if that dream meant something. Isn't there a scripture in Rev. about a beast rising out of the ocean? Hmm..

After reading Powemm's thread, I am getting excited for storm season! We get tornado watches/warnings here every summer. Pretty rare that we get a tornado the stays on the ground. It sure makes me feel alive though! My goal in life is to actually see one. I've been fascinated by them every since I was a child watching the Wizard of Oz. I have tornado dreams pretty often.
 
I had a dream lastnight that I lost in a tiara making contest at school, to some of the 'talented' girls. The winners we able to made into barbies. I felt really down. I woke up that way too, I know that it is just a dream but the disappointment feels so real that it is taking a while to shake off.
 
So many times I wonder why I don't just stop talking before I start. If I'm not going to make any sense anyway, I may as well keep my nonsense to myself.

And yet I lack the ability to know, beforehand, that I'm about to put my foot in my mouth.

Moments when I could use psychic powers....!

Or maybe just a muzzle?
