Please remind me that if I ever get married to never publish marital problems on social media, especially if I'm angry.
Ugh, tell me about it! There's one woman at work who is always complaining about her husband's lack of sex drive.

At least it reminds me there ARE worse things than being single. I could be married to someone like... er, never mind.

Today is one of those days where I feel every bit of my age and feel all the damage I have done to my body.

Work today, church tomorrow. Same as last week and the week before and the week before and...

Work I don't like so much, but church I look forward to. Some things don't get boring week after week. :D
I hear ya about the work part. What do you do for work?

So if there was ban on Christians will there be a massive protest from liberals and the rest of America to fight for our rights? I highly doubt it. I never understood why the left hates Christianity so much but support Islam and Muslims to the fullest? Goes to show you how the media controls the minds of those willing to follow every word.

What kind of board games are you going to be playing? :D
For board games there is nothing better than Sorry. :D
If you're feeling adventurous enough to branch out into card games, Pit is a great card game. It gets really loud and frantic sometimes, and there are always recriminations at the end.

I work at a fast food factory. This is mildly ironic considering how much I like good food and how strongly I loathe mass produced junk. But it's a job and I bring my lunch from home.

Me right now.

In the 10 or so hours I was gaming we played:

Castles of Mad King Ludwig
Baltimore and Ohio (which took somewhere around 4+ hours but I creamed the competition)
Some sort of deckbuilding card game based on Marvel superheroes
Hit Z Road (trying to survive the zombie apocalypse, but I ran out of bullets)

And that we only got to 4 games in 10 hours should probably tell you something about the length and complexity of the games we like to play at board game group. Now if I could just find some local people who would get togther more than once a month for such shenanigans. (And like games a bit more complex than sorry and uno.)

I must agree with this statement. Pit is a fun game and you are correct, it indeed gets loud and frantic.

I also like Sequence as a board/card game :)

It is a job, you're right. How long have you worked there?

The bad thing is the they are in a middle of a divorce that I think could actually be stopped if she just closed her mouth.

I recommend Risk. It is a world domination game that has the right amount of complexity for someone like me. When I was in the army, we would sometimes play Risk all night long on a weekend. Monopoly is another game I recommend.

Does anyone play Pinochle anymore? I used to like playing partner Pinochle, but it's been many years. It seems to be a game that has just gone out of vogue.

Kinda scared right now and would appreciate prayers. I was just admitted to the hospital with a small bowel obstruction. Hoping I don't require surgery!

I spent 13 hours with a tube up my nose down to my stomach to decompress my GI tract and the obstruction resolved itself. No surgery :)

Working a 14 hour shift after a VERY long day yesterday. I drove a bus full of ppl back home from Oklahoma, ran errands and helped my kids for the next...11 hours after that. Finished my day at almost midnight and back up at 6:15am this morning for work.

I look like the wind attacked my hair. I look like I've been assaluted by tiredness. It's not pretty guys...and I still totally love me.

I want tomorrow to be a snow day so bad. We could sleep in and be vegetables all day.

Sound like you need a "personal health" day.

Call in sick and tell them you are not feeling well. I think this can be justified every three to six months, depending how how well you like your job.

I work at a preschool, I won't be going back next fall. Unfortunately calling in would leave the teacher I work with all alone and that's really difficult. Because of poor planning and crappy pay we have no one to substitute. I wish I could take a personal health day.
