How ever, I did mention that denominational thinking is the problem which brings me to your denomination not following HIS word but denominational thinking.

I have not seen any denom on his website and I doubt they have any kind of oversight. They seem to be a group...although I have not seen any other input other than from him so maybe it is just him? He calls it a fellowship but it seems this forum may be where he is doing his 'fellowshipping'. He refers to himself as the 'lead learner' but also states he attends church. No clue which one or whether or not his 'site' stand alone or is affiliated.
and no, you never said a thing about any denomination from what I have seen. His input basically consists of his posting from his website and or inviting people to go there. His posts are billboards for his website unless he is reprimanding someone who dares to ask a question or disagrees. In that case, it's righteous indignation and huffing and puffing. It is just about impossible to ever have a thread wherein someone does not drop in and cause rabbit trails or just indicates they would like a good fight without actually saying they would like a good fight LOL!
I have not seen it much either, he is a Baptist, he does like to talk about himself he follows, (The modern Baptist movement was started by John Smyth in 1609) John Smyth not JESUS.
I think the only thing he disagrees with John Smyth is he doesn't believe in once saved always saved.
It is sad, he just says stuff and everyone should know if he can't back it up with GOD'S word it's from Satan himself.

I know it will not matter to you, but as far as how old the earth is did you notice in Genesis it says day 1, day 2, day 3, day 4, day 5, day 6 and day 7?
Do you think when he put the sun in the sky that it took the sun to go around the earth more than 24 hrs?
Something to think on IF it took thousands of years for it to go around the earth the day after he made the trees they would have been dead for the lack of the sun, the waters would not have moved and became stagnate, the fish would have died etc.

1. Attending Sunday school followed by church services with my Southern Baptist (SBC) parents,
2. Augmented by reading the New English Bible they gave me about the time I went to college,
3. Augmented by reading the Today's English Version while taking SBC seminary classes and hearing sermons by R.B. Thieme,
4. Augmented by reading the NIV for the purpose of training Sunday School teachers as a Minister of Education at a SBC/ABC church,
5. Augmented by more SBC seminary classes for becoming a pastor and Protestant military chaplain,
6. Augmented by debating atheists in Austin and via a military online chat site (AKO),
7. Augmented by lessons developed for sharing with soldiers while mobilized in Bosnia, Del Rio and Iraq,
8. Augmented by self-publishing two booklets before opting to publish via a website, <truthseekersfellowship.com>,
9. Augmented by reading the Apologetics Study Bible I was given in 2010,
10. Augmented by discussions on CC with some folks whose dogma seems problematic: Judaizers, Sabbatarians, Actsies
and Demeaners.
I currently belong to the local church, which is conservative Methodist, to a Bible (DTS) Church and a SBC church,
and I consider myself to be an ecumenical Christian.
I've got him on ignore so...the many ways to be saved I'm not even aware of. Of course 3, 4 & 5 have been questionned over and over. And then he denies saying those things. There is nothing that can be done. Personally, I would boot him off the site for the unbiblical beliefs, not to mention his constant advertising of his site in posts. But not up to me, so on ignore instead.
Half of what he says should be posted under the conspiracy theory thread.

I have no idea why people need an internet sights when we have GOD"S word.
That is a part of the problem, people think they know more the GOD so they start their own website's to share their opinion.
How many people today use them and call them bible, when it's just another opinion.

Methodist? Really? The Bible does say that 'teacher' is one of the spiritual gifts and unlike a few of others that are denied, teacher apparently holds great value and esteem.
Hi Mikael. I am one of those who feel alone and voice is not heard, yet know I have a message that is genuine and universal for all.
My message: God has always existed, is everywhere at once, transcends time, has a mind, heart and will, can create out of nothing, and knows everything about everything, including what everyone is thinking and feeling, and the future. Our reality is in the mind of the Father because that is the only way that He can have all those qualities and power. He is the Father because He is the Father of our reality and everything in it. The Father, who has always existed, must have created many different realities, and ours is just one of many. In our reality with nothing in it and nothing happening, there is no concept of time. When He placed a living, thinking, willful, and feeling being in it and called him His Son, time begain because there is now a time before, during, and after this event. Isaiah 43:10 This event is referred to as the beginning. The Father interacts with the realities that He creates through His Holy Spirit, which in Isaiah 63: 9-10 is referred to as "the angel of His presence". Angel because it can be sent, and where the Holy Spirit is, the Father is. In our reality, the Father fills His Son with His Holy Spirit so that the Father resides in the Son's being. The Son has his own mind, feeling, and will, but because he loves the Father, he surrenders his will to the Father and so becomes the image of the invisible God. Col 1: 15 The Father, through His Holy Spirit that is in His Son, creates everything that is in our reality. In 1 Cor 15: 27, because the Father loves His Son, all creation in our reality is placed under the Son's feet, which makes the Son Lord and God of all creation in our reality, but the Father is the Lord and God of all realities. What people don't understand is the Holy Spirit and His function as the presence and power of God. This is the mystery which hath been hidden from ages and from generations which is Christ in you, the hope of glory (becoming part of the glorified body of Christ through the Holy Spirit which is the portal through which Christ, who is filled with the Holy Spirit of the Father, can enter our beings). Went to a baptist church and listen to the pastor, sayed the prayer got baptized the way man change it in the year 325 in JESUS titles not in HIS name.
Later I seen the truth.
So here's my spin on why so many different denominations.
Man-made preachers just like the sinners pray, man-made.
They go to school and come out a pastor.
JESUS made preachers.
JESUS teaching them,

JESUS disciple preacher are let by the spirit, not by a man who teaches at a collage.
Why are there so many different denominations and only ONE GOD and one rule book?
Check this out, my wife and I had the privilege to have a bible book store.
The LORD told my wife, go on the shelf and pull down three bibles to compare.
Three study bibles, can't remember the verses but this was the end result.
One said that meant baptism.
The second said that may mean baptism.
The third said that does not mean baptism.
End result those study bibles were made by man with their opinion on that specific scripture.
I've debate with people who use got-question.-org as their foundation.
The CEO of got-question.org is S. Michael Houdmann, who also serves as the founder and president of Got Questions Ministries. He established the ministry in 2002 and is responsible for the content and operations of the website, which provides biblical answers to questions online.
So instead of follow JESUS and HIS word, they follow S. Michael Houdmann and his word.
That to me is the foundation of the problem.
I sometimes use Got Questions if the answer is biblical with good references, but as a whole, I do not agree with a couple of their stands such as cessationism. You do have to be careful about translations these days. I grew up on the KJV and I still remember verses in that version but will look up the reference to use another reference. Interesting about your wife. We have to be careful these days.

I don't see anything wrong to try to get better understanding BUT GOD'S word is the finial authority.
If we get information that doesn't line up with HIS word and we share it or claim it to be true, that lie will be on us. Or so no ones felling get hurt I say "misspoke" LOL.
Satans plan, keep them out of the water, if they get in the water keep JESUS name out of it.

I don't get it, being baptized to remove our sins is something we have to do.
Being filled with the Holy Ghost is something JESUS does.
Satan likes twisting things and some people sure are twisting things.

I didn't mean that kind of alone. I'm given the key that unlocks the door to understanding, and no one is paying attention. I'm hoping that someone on this thread will read my post #92 and check out all the scriptures I included.
Oh, well, regarding the message and scriptures, you are hardly alone in believing that God is omnitemporal, omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient. You refer to the mind of God, which is akin to Scripture's reference to the Word of God (John 1:1) and mind of Christ (1Cor. 3:16).
Regarding the creation of many different realities, it seems logical to assume that the all-loving God would create the best possible world or one in which the greatest percentage of persons may attain ultimate joy (1Tim. 2:3-4, 2PT 3:9). God may have created all possible kinds of worlds simultaneously: the world of dead matter, the world of living plants, the world of intelligent animals, and the world of morally accountable souls/humans. God’s world/way is best.
Isaiah 43:10 refers to Isaiah 42:1, who is indeed God the Son, existing from the beginning, and God does indeed interact with the souls He creates through His Holy Spirit, which Isaiah 63:9-10 calls "the angel of His presence", who fills His Son.
Yes, Hebrews 2:14-18 indicates that Jesus is like other humans in every way, having mind, feeling, and will, and Hebrews 4:15 says he was without sin, the perfect image of the invisible God per Colossians 1:15, who reigns over our reality per 1 Corinthians 15:25-27 under God.
It is true that many people don't understand the function of the Holy Spirit, which was a mystery not fully revealed until the New Covenant was given, that all believers are part of the glorified body of Christ per Colossians 1:24-29, because the Comforter indwells them per John 14:15-20.

Well I don't agree that being water baptized removes sin. My understanding is that ONLY the blood of Christ removes our sins. That being said, I have had that debate too many times to care to have it again. I am water baptized and spirit baptized, so good to go.
