It was good to teach TSers reading our posts the futility of trying to teach closed-minded people the truth that although
there is only one WAY to attain heaven, there are many ways of stating GRFS, with "be reborn" being the way Jesus stated it
in John 3:3&6, and other ways of stating it including these (some stated in terms of faith and some in terms of works):

Specific instructions......

Acts 2:38-39
King James Version
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

They OBEYED those instructions and THREE THOUSAND SOULS WERE ADDED.

You give me specific instructions on what EXALATY I have to do to be reborn.

Thank you for responding. And I agree, we see scripture differently.

And I leave you with this to ponder. Why would Jesus state being born naturally is required in order to enter the kingdom of God? It doesn't make sense. Whereas, both water and Spirit are referenced in all detailed conversion accounts.

"Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except (unless) a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God". John 3:5

Already pondered. Obviously, if a person is not born, he cannot be reborn. Too obvious?

Regarding WB & SB in Acts: It took a while for things to get sorted out and for the normative chronology to be revealed/taught

I asked you for specific instructions on how to be reborn and you can't but share scripture.

Cat got your tongue?

Tell me this, what happens when a person is filled with the Holy Ghost?

Its possible to grow spiritually without church. as long as we still do the things which Gods helps us with. Fasting, praying, reading the bible and donating to christian causes. But honestly church is better than not church.

I asked you for specific instructions on how to be reborn and you can't but share scripture.

Cat got your tongue?

Tell me this, what happens when a person is filled with the Holy Ghost?

In my case the person loves Ouch, who complains when I don't let Scripture speak without comment
and then complains when I do let Scripture speak without comment!

Keep it going.

The Holy Spirit is the mind, power, and presence of the invisible God the Father. Where the Holy Spirit is, the Father is. Isaiah 63: 9-10. When we are filled with the Holy Spirit, God resides in us. 1 Cor 3: 16. Old Testament prophets, when filled with the Holy Spirit, were able to speak God's words. Isaiah 23: 2, Jer 1: 9. Jesus, being filled with the Holy Spirit during John's water baptism, kept saying that the words that he spoke were the Father's. John 12: 49-50, John 7: 16, John 14: 10, John 8: 28. It is the Father who is the God of our Lord Jesus Christ and who is the Father of Glory (His Holy Spirit) because it is through His Holy Spirit that the Father communicates, speaks through, and empowers. The Father's glory is synonymous to the Father's Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is a portal through which, when received, allows both Father and Son to enter the being indwelled. John 14: 23. In John 14: 6
Jesus says that no man cometh unto the Father, but by him. That is because the Father resides in Jesus through the Holy Spirit, and Jesus resides in us when we get baptized with the Holy Spirit. Jesus is in the Family of the Father (Son of God), and we are in the spiritual body of the Son, which makes us children of God. We are all connected by the Holy Spirit (the portal), and become One with the Father. John 14: 20. John 17: 20-24 When Jesus went back to the Father to get glorified, he received from the Father a spiritual body made up of the souls of believers who are connected to him by the Holy Spirit. The members of this spiritual body are given to Jesus by the Father. John 17: 9-11 Life eternal involves knowing who the one true God is, and the relationship between the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. John 17: 1-3. We are born again when we receive the Holy Spirit because the Father and Son change our motivation for living from love of self, to love of God first, and all others as we love ourselves. If you don't feel this love, you don't have it.

Catholic Mistake #7
The Catholic Church burned Jan Hus at the stake
Jan Hus (1372-1415), one of Wycliffe's followers actively promoted Wycliffe's ideas. So what did the RCC do? They burned him at the stake in 1415. They used Wycliffe's bibles as kindling for the fire.

Catholic Mistake #8
The Catholic Church burned the Lollards
John Wycliffe led a movement that became known as the Lollard movement or the Lollards. The Lollards opposed many practices of the RCC. So what did the RCC do? They burned a couple of the Lollards leaders. They burned John Babbie while he was tied up in a barrel in 1410. They hung John Oldcastle over a fire and burned him to death in 1417.

Catholic Mistake #9
The RCC burned William Tyndale at the stake
William Tyndale completed a translation of the new testament from greek to English in 1525 which the RCC in England tried to confiscate and burn. After issuing a revised edition in 1535, he was arrested, spent over a year in jail, and was then strangled and burned at the stake in 1536. It is estimated today that 90% of the New Testament in the 1611 King James Bible is the work of William Tyndale. Tyndale was burned at the stake for having a non-catholic view of the bible. Seeing all these burned bodies, a question comes to mind. Why would anyone today want to be associated with a church that used to commonly burn christians alive?

I just told you: He loves Ouch despite being called a liar = fool.

Was that to me? Who loves me? besides JESUS and everyone that knows me personally?

Note: I didn't call you a fool, HIS word warns us of that.

Why? I think (can't prove it) a fool could have his eyes opened as we plant seeds we have no idea.

A liar is different, they don't work for JESUS and I share what happens to liars.

Second why can't you answer the question?

I am here to share GOD'S word, the most important thing is being reborn.

If JESUS never filled me with his spirit I could be a muslim, buddhist, baptist a catholic or whatever.

I belong to a church who has also been filled with the Holy Ghost just like all of the churches Paul started. And it ALL LINES UP WITH HIS WORD.

JESUS is alive, and anyone I share HIS word with "see's it" and could be saved I will be storing treasures in Heaven.

Sad part is I asked you how to be reborn, if I was lost you lost the opportunity to get me reborn and store some treasures in Heaven.

Isn't that our job?

I can only assume you can see the reason you didn't answer my question if you share what happens with HIS word get filled you will be wrong, it's ok to be wrong we just need to repent.

NONE OF US ARE PERFECT.

I don't know if it's too late with you blaspheming the Holy Ghost but I'm still going to tell you it's not to late to repent.

ALL IN LOVE.

That's exactly my point. Why tell someone who has already been born that they must meet the condition of being born in order to enter the kingdom of God? That's illogical.

What is logical, however, is both water and Spirit are represented as conditions for NT believers. All believers are commanded to submit to water baptism in the name of Jesus for remission of sin and promised they will receive the gift of the Holy Ghost/Spirit.

"Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God" John 3:5

To us, if an entity is born with a human body, then born of water, meaning a human birth, seems superfluous. In God's world there are entities without bodies, with non-human bodies, and humans who have not been born yet.
Also, what you wrote in your post about both water and Spirit representing conditions
for NT believers should read of NT believers.

Catholic Mistake #10
The RCC and the Inquisitions
The RCC killed countless innocent christians and non-christians during the different inquisitions. The inquisition was a powerful office set up within the RCC to root out and punish heresy throughout Europe and the Amereicas. Beginning in the 12th century and continuing for roughly 700 years, the inquisition is infamous for the severity of its tortures and its persecution of anyone not bowing down to the RCC. Its worse manifestation was in Spain where the Spanish Inquisition was a dominant force for more than 200 years resulting in some 32,000 executions. The job of the inquisitors was to arrive in a town and to announce their presence giving citizens a chance to admit to heresy. Those who confessed received a harsh punishment of being whipped and beaten. If the heretic did not confess, torture and execution were inescapable. The number of people who were murdered in the various inquisitions is difficult to determine but the number of victims can be numbered in the tens of thousands all the way up to the hundreds of thousands. Just recently, even the pope apologized on behalf of the RCC for their bloody history and for killing protestants.

Catholic Mistake #11
The Thirty Years War
The 30 years war was a 17th century religious conflict fought primarily in central Europe. It remains as the longest and brutal wars in human history with more than eight million casualties resulting from military battles as well as from famine and disease. The war lasted from 1618 to 1648. The war was preceded by the election of the new Roman emperor Ferdinand II who tried to impose religious uniformity on his territories, forcing Roman catholicism on its peoples. Yes, Ferdinand II tried to force Roman catholicism on the people. The northern protestant states angered by the violation of the rights to choose which had granted to them from the Peace of Augsburg settlement banded together to form the protestant union. This war was the RCC attempt to overcome the protestants. So just think if the RCC minded their own business and left the protestants alone to their own beliefs, eight million lives could have been saved. Way to go RCC.

...

Regarding WB & SB in Acts: It took a while for things to get sorted out and for the normative chronology to be revealed/taught
in the epistles.
The first thing Paul did upon his arrival in Ephesus was ask 12 men if they had received the Holy Ghost since they believed. (This indicates the Holy Ghost is not received the moment of belief)

The account goes on to say the men had been baptized by John so Paul rebaptized them in the name of Jesus. Afterward he laid hands on the men and they received the Holy Ghost. (Acts 19:1-7) You might be wondering how does this relates to your post. Consider that the Apostle Paul wrote letters to the Galatians and Corinthians during that stay in Ephesus. And to the Romans while in Corinth shortly afterward. One would have to accept that at the same time Paul was preaching the same requirements presented 20+ years earlier at Pentecost, he was telling the Corinthians and Romans something entirely different.

This is another proof that Paul's epistles do not express something different concerning how to experience the NT rebirth then what was revealed at Pentecost.
