You still have not shown where Jesus said to do it in silence so your saying of how Jesus taught it is still invalid because you have not shown where he actually says to do it in silence

So if he never said that why do you put words in his mouth?

If you insist I'm saying something i never said, I'll just put in with the others on ignore.

1 Thessalonians 5:16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 give thanks
in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Yes in secret. And i will elaborate on that specific passage at some point.

Honest discussion is required.
Yes it is but you do not seem to want to do that you are unable to provide any scriptural evidence for your stance and so you put me on ignore when I challenge you to do so

You need to have tough skin if your going to be in debates

I would be highlighting the NT, after Jesus gave His teaching on prayer.

Fasting was a part of praying. When someone is in distress or mourning, they prayed.
Jesus made a statement about those who are walking around praying at a event, making themselves look as if they are sadden by something or someone at these community events.
What Jesus meant by going into your closet to pray, He's referring to keep it within you, like pray from our soul that He can hear our thoughts or our emotions.

I know it's wonderful to be smacking on a nice juicy steak while praying for others while they are in pain. But you can only focus on one thing at a time.
I guess just put off the prayer until you are full.

Isaiah 58
“Shout it aloud, do not hold back. Raise your voice like a trumpet. Declare to my people their rebellion and to the descendants of Jacob their sins. For day after day they seek me out; they seem eager to know my ways, as if they were a nation that does what is right and has not forsaken the commands of its God. They ask me for just decisions and seem eager for God to come near them. ‘Why have we fasted,’ they say, ‘and you have not seen it? Why have we humbled ourselves, and you have not noticed?’ “Yet on the day of your fasting, you do as you please and exploit all your workers.

Matthew 6:16
“When you fast, do not look somber as the hypocrites do, for they disfigure their faces to show others they are fasting. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full.

Philippians 3:19
Their destiny is destruction, their god is their stomach, and their glory is in their shame. Their mind is set on earthly things.

Prayer, fasting, giving, Jesus taught all should be done in done on secret.

Yes it is to be done in secret but as for it not being spoken out loud that is what I am against as nowhere in scripture does it say to do it in silence

One more chance.

As per my understanding, and staying true to what Jesus taught. We can pray audibly as long as others don't hear it.

Jesus prayed audibly, and publicly. The admonition has to do with "that they may be seen of men." In other words,
check your motive. Jesus condemned the motivation of hypocrisy in prayer. He criticized those who prayed in public
settings, such as synagogues and on street corners, specifically to "be seen by others" and gain human applause.

Nope, that's not what Mt. 6: 5:6 says.

Jesus literally says, "You must not be like the hypocrites. For they love to stand and
pray in the synagogues and at the street corners, that they may be seen by others."

Keep reading, GO INTO YOUR CLOSET AND PRAY IN SECRET.
You don't need to do that if your just worried about hypocrites.

Our Faith and faithing, is a personal relationship. A personal surrender to Him and a life inspired by such surrender.

How He taught us to pray is part of that.

Jesus cautioned against being like the hypocrites, you disagree. No honest discussion from you. Bye.

I stand by what Jesus says in His word. I've practiced it for 38 years and have received those blessings in return .

So you'll have to do better to persuade me otherwise.

I agree it is to be done in secret but Jesus never taught that we are not to pray outloud he merely said to do it in secret, I haven't seen anywhere in scripture that says to not speak out loud in prayer in any shape or form

I mean whatr if you are laying hands on someone and do not pray over them? or what if you are in front of a dying person and do not pray over them? these actions usually require that the prayer is spoken out loud
