"Prayer" How did we get here?

The Temple was controlled by the San Hedrin and if you think they would allow Christians to gather and pray you are truly mistranslated.

Yes of course they did at that time. The sanhedrin didn't pereive them as a threat then

With this authoritive prescription given by Jesus the anointed messiah, why do most of the church world do the opposite of what He taught?

With this definition of prayer , why do we look at prayer in scripture as audible?

Why does the church world fight so vehemently for prayer in schools when it can be done anytime, anywhere, the way Jesus taught it.

Why is prayer only acceptable to the church world today if its' done exactly as Christ told us not to do it?

I put this challenge to the members. Show any biblical text that supports audible prayer. but remember the datum point Christ gave us.

And just a disclaimer, i understand that even when people are gathered into groups, they could stay true to what Jesus taught.

Only gonna touch .. so when did Christ say this? Yeah He had not even died rose yet (shouting time). Still all living by under the law. As for what the "Church world" does and does not do? Lol man I would have to only guess no one knows this but Him. You have not even touched the NT here..

I think the onus is on you to explain why they would be hanging out in an upper room at 9AM on one of the most important religious days of the year. And why would Jews from all over the world be hanging outside their room when they should have been in the temple worshiping God and participating in the ceremonies.
