You will get your turn with Dottie. For that I am very sure. I will deal with Dottie as I did a long time ago on and now defunct thread. I will deal with her falseness, her word-twisting and whatever else I need to deal with. I do not coddle, pretend, nor extend graciousness to false teaching nor false teachers.

Who have I condemned by name? Have you read the awful cobdemning words they write of me and to me personally??? You are asking the one condemned by your team, who condemns NO ONE, to stop doing what your side does. A few on your team think Im not even a Christian. I think you are all christians. You got it all backwards.

No not at all. But the seed is always the word of God, not us and not our faith. Jesus said some will fall away from the faith.

What does the Bible tell us to do so the the faith is not ship wrecked? Seek Him. Is that a “work” that is optional to you? Pray without ceasing. Is that an optional extra work for you? Forgive those who sin against you. Is that an optional extra for you?

That’s the license it gives to those who desire it. One need not be loving or forgiving if others don’t accept your freedom either. They don’t accept your theology so don’t deserve anything but the rack. Oops the Inquisition again. Whew!! We’re anonymous!
 
What is the basis of our faith? Our works?

No. John said it is the knowledge we have eternal life

Why do people think it is our good deeds which give us faith? Is this not faith in self?

So glad you think you are so perfect and able to earn your own way to heaven where the glory is removed from Christ and put on your shoulders

So you are saved by your works?

You really cannot make up your mind it seems?

God does not take away the imperishable seed, His gifts are irrevocable, He justifies the believer... He optionally sanctifies the believer and has promised to raise us in glory


Jesus only gives the gift of secure eternal life ... what have you trusted Him for if not secure eternal life?

He offers nothing less.

There is only one Gospel... it is the gift of eternal life, never to be forsaken, revoked, taken back or defeated.

.......by grace through faith apart from works anything less makes God incompetent
