Always the same ole tired accusation and another irony is that you do not even know what you are actually claiming.
Those that make this false accusation are actually promoting their own worthiness.
Only a heart of a person that feels more righteous than others would make this accusation.
Paul states that those who argue grace is a license to sin, argue from a heart of disbelief.
I on the other hand am quite aware that my works do not achieve my salvation, nor keep my salvation.... but you do believe this... so you have disbelief about the Grace of God.
Next time you make that false accusation also remember Paul stated their "condemnation is just"
Hahahaahhahahahaabababababababbduxggzuebrbaowieygzieiehdudueieied so hilariously false you have me laughing in tongues <--disclaimer....not really! You'd be surprised.
Just because you don't know doesn't mean I don't know what I'm talking about.
I know.
The same crap that lost men accused Paul of....!
Did she listen , please tell us![]()
I found this so interesting, 2000 and some years later same tired false accusation... "father of lies" comes to mind.
Ralph did the same thing.....You are not calling out my sin. You are naming someone else's sins and declaring my faith in grace unreasonable because of it.
Sure you do....everytime you peddle a self maintained faith to keep salvation!I don't say anything that the Lord has not already said in the scriptures.
"God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life. 8 Therefore, anyone who rejects this instruction does not reject a human being but God, the very God who gives you his Holy Spirit." - 1 Thessalonians 4:7-8
It is hard sometimes to remember that it is the Lord that is being resisted when the command to live a holy life gets pooh-poohed as being a self-righteous works gospel.
I am not pooh-poohing anything of the sort.
you say correctly that one has to believe and keep believing to saved.
then you throw in the lordship salvation lie that righteous living is " proof " of salvation, thus undercutting what you said correctly .
and, as far as 1st Thessalonians 4, Paul was speaking of being sexually pure when He said what you quoted.
it was not general statement.
go peddle your lordship salvation on someone who does not know Scripture. it will not work on someone who does.
you say correctly that one has to believe and keep believing to saved.
Touching one's heart is not the prerequisite for biblical worship though.
Amen.....in the entire N.T. only one song was sung and that was after the Lord's Supper.....every place else worship involved the preaching of the word of God and prayer!
My coffee's gone and I'm too snobbish to drink work coffee!

Also can be translated "prove to me your righteousness in this matter." You and I, brother, have trouble communicating. I will answer your question about the praise music I like. I have always been a fan of both Keith Green and Phil Keaggy. While I don't believe their music is perfect, I have a lot of of criticism (not a qualifier for disqualification, admitting my own personal belief which has holes in it influences this) for modern praise music, and find myself sticking to the palms and hymns for the most part.

Maybe you are sayin this because you think you are some tough guy with a stomach of steel.
We all know what auto shop coffee tastes like...![]()
I was started very early (product of being a Dutch child, maybe?) at nine years old. When I was fourteen, after being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and they took my sugar away, I started drinking it black, and boy, after that you become far more picky about your coffee. I can't quite afford sixteen dollars a pound, but if I could, I'd probably spend it.Now we have something in common. I am a cheapskate with most things, such as food and clothes. BUT why I comes to my COFFEE, I got the COFFEE ROASTER, and buy fresh ground coffee, even though it costs $16 a pound. Coffee from Kenya, and Panama, are my two favorite Coffees.
I only have this to say about Starbucks: if you can't get a black coffee right, probably shouldn't be making all the fancies that come after it. Burnt, bitter, or cold every time.Lol I'd prefer instant coffee with too much or not enough water over starbucks
That being said my favorite is mixing any strong coffee with hot chocolate.. I may not be the biggest coffee expert ...
