Touching one's heart is not the prerequisite for biblical worship though.

The Praise music brings tears to my eyes, some more than others. I am singing to HIM, and how can that NOT TOUCH MY HEART?

How can when you open your heart to HIM, and Sing to HIM, not stir the emotion of Touching one's HEART of {Human Spirit}, not be a part of it ? ? ? Unless you are not Born Again ? ? ?

Ephesians 5:17-21 (NIV)
17 Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord's will is.
18 Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit.
19 Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord,
20 always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
21 Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.

So How are you obedient to these VERSES:
Also can be translated "prove to me your righteousness in this matter." You and I, brother, have trouble communicating. I will answer your question about the praise music I like. I have always been a fan of both Keith Green and Phil Keaggy. While I don't believe their music is perfect, I have a lot of of criticism (not a qualifier for disqualification, admitting my own personal belief which has holes in it influences this) for modern praise music, and find myself sticking to the palms and hymns for the most part.

It does not get any plainer..........Our righteous works have ZERO to do with Salvation!

English Standard Version
he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit,

Berean Study Bible
He saved us, not by the righteous deeds we had done, but according to His mercy, through the washing of new birth and renewal by the Holy Spirit.

Berean Literal Bible
He saved us, not by works in righteousness that we did, but according to His mercy, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,

New American Standard Bible
He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,

King James Bible
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
Ephesians 2:9 King James Version (KJV)

9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

You must do Works to obtain Salvation!
Works is a Requirement for Salvation!
Without Works Salvation does not exist!
Not doing Works, you have never been Saved!

That is why I named my music thread:
WHAT KIND OF CHRISTIAN MUSIC BLESSES YOUR HEART?
https://christianchat.com/christian...-of-christian-music-blesses-your-heart.89552/

I like everything except Christian Hard Rock.

EVEN FOREIGN Artists as along as the have subtitles in English.
I rarely listen to "Christian" music.about ten years ago I was in Vancouver, waiting to put my car onto the ferry, and everyone was standing outside of their cars, I heard an entire conversation between two male "Christian"musicians.

One was really down because he was going to sign up with a big "Christian" record company...and when he went to the exec's office to sign the papers ..the exec (male) had lines of cocaine ready and asked for sex before signing the papers.

That musician stated he high tailed it out of there and was devastated.

At least with "secular" music one know's what one is listening to.

Just my personal preference. I do not need music to create warm fuzzy feelings towards God like so many modern day churches.

I agree Keith Green and Phil Keaggy are the better choices.

It is that way, based on scripture.

Romans 4:5

But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness,
Romans 4:6 - just as David also describes the blessedness of the man to whom God imputes righteousness apart from works. (y)
