You just proved the absolute nessesity of persevering until the end for salvation. (y)
Nope not really.

The issue I take is that you said "We choose to persevere"

Those who are saved before the beginning of time chose to persevere to the end.

You say those who are saved before the beginning of time.

Therefore we are saved before our perserverance.

So salvation is not based on that.

We are saved before the beginning of time because of our perseverance until the end.

You are the one who wants to get to heaven without having to persevere to the end.
Arguing in circles. In order not to be in circular vent, why not give us your understanding of your proof text based on its context or the text will con you. Don't just play around...

Unless you do not persevere until the end.
1 Corinthians 1:8-9
who will also confirm you to the end, that you may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

Philippians 1:6
being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;

Hebrews 7:25
Therefore He is able to save completely those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to intercede for them.

Yet again, no worries :)

I told you to read the rest of my post.

Persevering near the END has NOTHING TO DO WITH SALVATION, and I PROVED IT.

NOTHING YOU DO CAN IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF GETTING INTO HEAVEN.

HE WHO LOVE THE LORD, YOU WILL OUT OF THAT LOVE OBEY HIM.

Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely, and may your entire spirit, soul, and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ: the One who calls you is faithful, and He will do it!

AMEN :)

Matthew 24:13
But he that shall persevere to the end, he shall be saved.

Nobody has salvation without first persevering until the end.
He has saved us and called us to a holy life — not because of anything we have done but because of His own purpose and grace! This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time.
(2 Timothy 1:9)

  • He has saved us
    • past tense: effectual
  • and called us to a holy life
    • present & future: persuasive
  • not because of anything we have done
    • past tense: non-causal
  • but because of His own purpose and grace
    • eternal present tense: causal
  • this grace was given us in Christ Jesus
    • past tense: causal
  • before the beginning of time
    • a-temporal: causal
